    Chest Pain

Hi, Most people get chest pain because of the air that they swallow as they eat or drink. Try walking when you get chest pain and also try to not use straws. Hope this is helpful.

    Protein Help!

Try Isopure Isolate Protein Drinks. They also have unflavored powder. Much Much Much better than anything elase I have tried. They are a bit pricey but are well worth the money!

    I Cant Do This

You can do it! I'm surprised your allowed to eat a meal. When I did my pre-op diet I wasn't allowed to eat food at all. Only 3-4 Protein shakes a day and some crysal lite....for 2 weeks!! If I can do it...then anyone can do it!!
  5. I have been post-op for 1 week, 2 days.....and...if I had to go back to work tomorrow I would so be able to. I'm a teacher. Most people usually take off 2 weeks from work.

    6 Days Post-Op - A Recap

Thank you for sharing all this with us! I know exactly what you are talking about. I honestly woke up with no pain!....I asked the nurses, "is it over" cause I could not believe that I was already out. Wish you the best in your journey and please continue to share with us!...because we do read!
  7. I'm not here to judge...cause God know's and I know that the pre-op diet is extremely difficult. But ask yourself this. The pre-op diet for me was the ultimate test. If I could not get myself to comply with the 2 week diet then why in the world would I make this life-long commitment. I have now been post op for less than a week....and let me tell you something....the hunger does not competely go away. My stomach might be full but my brain wants to keep eating. Make sure you are ready to make this commitment.

    Feel Nauseous....

Hey guys...I had my sleeve done on Wed. June 13th. Yesturday was my first complete day home and I was fine. I woke up this morning and my mother was cooking something and the smell of it made me sick. But now I have been feeling this way since....i've tried to eat something else and nothing is settling with my stomach. Is this normal? What can I do to make it better??
  9. I'm a little nervous but excited too. I wish you the best! btw...your already beautiful.
  10. OMG!! Good luck...mine is on Wed....are you nervous?
  11. Hi, I know exactly what your going through. I am on day 13 of my pre-op diet. Quite honestly it gets better. I started of drinking the vanilla flavored Protein shakes from slimfast....horrible...just horrible. I remember people telling me that it takes a couple of days before the shakes start to taste better. That is SOO true. I'm not saying that they will taste delicious after a couple days but there will be a big improvement in taste. I am currently drinking the Royal chocolate flavored Protein Shakes from Slimfast and I am enjoying them a lot better than the vanilla ones. Sooo....my biggest advice is....be strong for a couple of days...don't give up. It will get better!!

Hi...yes I was scoped a couple weeks ago....I was totally fine afterwards. In fact, I had a friend drive me straight to work right after it.
