    Today it is: B- Protein shake L- Grilled chicken dipped in yogurt (only way i can get it down) D- grilled peppers and veggie sausage (i know, sounds awful, but it's good!) Snack- cheese stick Vites- gone water- working on it Exercise- gym after work
  3. I was off for 3 weeks, but I could easily have gone back after 12 days. It's so different for everyone, though. It also depends on what kind of work you do. I sit at a desk all day, so it was pretty easy for me :-)

    Oh no! You too? Sorry to hear it! I tell ya, I am starting meditation before I hurt someone! Hoping this passes when my weight stabilizes! Still, that's probably a year away....

    Hey there Mommie Tawnie, I'm sorry you feel ignored. Honestly, I think getting your questions answered is just luck of the draw. Some days I post a question and get 20 answers, sometimes I get one. It just depends on who is logged on, and if your questions get bumped from the top of the queue behind a more recent question. Don't take it personally!! At any rate, I think there are some great suggestions above. For me, changing up my exercise seems to work best! Hope you get past your stall SOON!!! I know how frustrating they can be!!! Best of luck!

    Hormones--help!!!

    Ha, that's exactly how I think the people around me feel! If this were a different era, we'd be locked in the attic for sure! Thanks for the suggestion on meditation, Tiff! I've been thinking about trying it, and now you've really got me thinking it might help! I'll give it a shot.

    feeling sad and sick

    I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. It does happen sometimes that it's kind of rough for the first couple of weeks. Everyone is different on this. I found that taking anti-nausea medication made a huge difference in my ability to get down liquids and protein early on. Can you ask your doctor for an anti-nausea prescription? Also, it's annoying, take really, really small sips instead of normal size sips and time them so that you have a few minutes between each sip. That should help hydrate you. The dehydration creates more nausea, so once you get dehydrated, you can get into a vicious cycle. I hope that helps!!!

    Coops, I'm sorry to hear this. I do think hormones are complicated little pains-in-the arse! Personally, I feel like my hormones are through the roof right now, and I wish we knew more about how to regulate them. Hang in there, and I hope it goes well for you!

    It sounds like you have hit the dreaded 3 week stall! Don't fret over it, it has happened to many of us!!! Just keep doing what you are doing, get in your protein and water, and the weight loss will pick back up! Great job so far!!
