Does anyone have a favorite or easy nutritional journal or log they would like to share? I am starting the solid food stage and want to make sure I dont miss any protein etc..... Thanks DEE

I had my surgery 5 weeks ago this Tuesday. I am going to dinner for my birthday next weekend and want to have a margarita. How long did everyone wait until after their surgery before they drank any alcohol?? I will also email my surgeon Monday to ask him... but just wondering?? THANKS!!

Monalisa We were sleeved on the same day I started at 230 am 5'5" and my goal is going to be 140!! I am down to 196 now Good luck!!!

I am sooo happy!!! Today I weighed myself and I am 198!!!!!!! 32 pounds gone so far!!! Sooo excited!!!!

I did not experience the weight gain but Ihave heard a lot of people do! I am so happy you are doing good!!

Hi! My name is Dee and I was sleeved 1/24/12 at Brigham and Womens Hospital by Dr. Tavakkoli. I had a great experience there and my nurses were fantastic! I have lost 25 pounds since the start of my pre op liquid phase Phyllis I too have some incisional pain still.. feels almost like a burning... I have my post op on Monday! I am curious/...... how long before you guys were able to start on soft foods? I was able to start on them 2 weeks after my surgery..... I noticed some people here are told to stay on the liquids for 3 to 4 weeks post op??? I wonder how the MD make that decision?? Just wondering what other Boston MD were saying? Thanks! Dee

CONGRATS! I too am being sleeved but not until Jan 26th!! I cant wait! I am in the same boat... I thought about band for almost TWO years,,,kept doing every new "diet": out there to only fail! I am 230# and feel gross, tired, short of breath and out of shape!! Good luck on your adventure! May 2012 be our year!!!!! Congrats to those of you who have already made 2011 your year! Hi! I just had my appt with my surgeon at B&WH this week! I have my appt for January! I hate to wait so long! I was originally going to do the lap band but have decided I am going to do the sleeve! Is everyone happy with the sleeve? HOw much weight have you lost?
