Hi All!

My name is Dee and I am 42 years old! I am married and mom to a 24 year old son and 2 year old twins haha long break in between kids! I am a registered nurse and love the floor I currently work on. (MATERNITY! its the best especially after doing the ER for many years!)

I have been overweight my WHOLE adult life.. I tried every diet etc.. (WW, Jenny, HCG Drops) I have been looking into weight loss surgery for a long time now. I was origianlly going to do the lap band and I am so happy I didnt!! A few of the nurses I work with did the lap band and some have been successful and some not! I figured if I was going to do this I would do it right and just go for the sleeve!

I had my sleeve done on 1/24/12 at Brigham and Womens in Boston. I could not have been happier with the care I recieved there! My surgeon Dr. Tavakkholi and all the RNs were great! I am down a total of 25 pounds and I am so pumped to just keep going! I have never felt so strong and determined!!!! I have a lot more to loose but I am thankful that I did the sleeve and everything has been smooth so far!!
