Hello everyone, I'm brand new here and just in the very beginning stages of trying to get approval for weight loss surgery through tri care prime. I had my first Doctors visit on 10/27/11 and am now awaiting for a referral to a bariatric doctor. I feel that my doctors visit went well and got the feeling that my pcm is going to do what she can to help me push this through. I was referred to have a sleep study done since I snore like crazy and wake up with sore throats. I just did the study last night so I have not heard what the results are yet....anyway, I'm glad I found a place to chat with others who are on the same or similar journey.
