I had requested information 6 yrs ago, never went through with it since my insurance at the time wouldn't pay for it.  Then a couple yrs later I did the phenteramine pills and HGC shots, lost 60 lbs.  I was feeling good, met my husband.  We got married a yr after we met.  Over the course of our 3 marriage my weight has yo-yo.  Finally I had gotten to my heaviest, not ever letting my husband seeing my weight, not even at the weigh in at the day of my surgery.  I finally decided I wanted this weight off permenately.  I researched the Lap Band again, called our insurance to see what they covered, they covered it 100% as long as other things were covered.  I was so happy!! I started searching for a Dr.  I did some research on my Doctor as well. Ask some friends of mine that worked at the hospital that he did his surgeries at heard he was very good at what he did and I made the initial appointment.  I am now 6 days post surgery, sipping broth as I type this.
