Liquor And The Lap Band
Kim Lap Band Talk replied to bandedbob's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've stuck to diet coke and rum or flavored vodka and sprite. It's not calorie free but it's what I like. Once you start to lose a lot of weight your tolerance will go down, like by half. I didn't give up social drinking and I'm at goal so it can be done -
Papaya Enzyme
Kim Lap Band Talk replied to iwokeupfat's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I felt like hell today, very sick, then took 2 papaya extracts from the vitamin shoppe for the first time and felt almost instant relief. I couldn't believe it. -

I'm enjoying a diet coke right now! -
Throwing In The Towel
Kim Lap Band Talk replied to mj23's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't feel restriction until 6 months after surgery and 9.5 cc in my band. I was frustrated too. But now I'm two pounds from a normal BMI so it will work if you hang in there. -
Not Craving Any Particular Food-what To Eat?
Kim Lap Band Talk posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
For the past few days I haven't been craving anything in particular. I don't know what I want to eat but of course need to eat so this has lead to grazing. Nothing seems to be satisfying me. Has this happened to anyone? What do you eat? I'm about 2 years post op and 6-ish lbs from goal. -
Not Craving Any Particular Food-what To Eat?
Kim Lap Band Talk replied to Kim Lap Band Talk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well I know what I should be eating but it seems like this week I just don't know what I want to eat. For example you could put a buffet of my favorite foods in front of me and I still wouldn't be craving anything. It's weird because nothing sounds good to me right now. -
I gained 5 lbs the first month after I was banded. The doctor said it was from going back to foods instead of just being on liquids. Of course it came back off. I wouldn't set a one-month goal.

Entire Wardrobe Must Go- 14, 16, 18, 20, XL, 1X. Over 200 pieces.
Kim Lap Band Talk replied to Kim Lap Band Talk's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Sorry for the delay! I'm not going to post to ebay or swap sites since I don't have the time to take pics of everything. i would even hire someone to do it if I could. I have tried to sell or barter many times on craigslist and haven't had any luck. I was thinking if someone had their former smaller clothes in size 8-10 we can swap them so that's why I posted here. -

LOL Sounds like a match! -
If you're a veggie be careful with Mexican restaurants since most use lard and may hide chicken broth in unexpected veggie dishes.

I'm not sure what I would consider cool- I'm open to suggestions As for swap sites and things like ebay--it would take forever for me to take pictures and create listings for everything. I've tried the craigslist barter section with no luck. -
I think that's too low for you. You should use a BMR calculator to determine your needs. http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ then use the hbe for your daily caloric needs based on your activity level.
