I had my 2 week checkup today and my blood pressure was 90/47. That is normal for me though. I've always had really low blood pressure and not had any problems because of it. I didn't have blood work either today. I wouldn't worry about your blood pressure being low unless you start getting light headed.

I like the premier protein shakes from Costco. They make vanilla and chocolate. I also like the strawberry sorbet unjury protein. I drink the muscletech protein shots because they have 42 grams of protein, but they taste horrible. I only drink them when I need to get a lot of protein in. Hope you find one that you like!

I had a reallllly bad rash too. It started on my chest and spread to my stomach. My doctor told me to take benadryl and put cortisone in it also, but that didn't work. It got so bad I had to get a prescription for prednisone. Once I started taking it the rash and itching disappeared. My doctor thought I had an allergic reaction to be of the antibiotics used after surgery. Hope you feel better!! -

12 Days Post Op And I Have A Rash

I had a horrible itchy rash that I just got rid of. My doctor said it was my body reacting to either the antibiotics from surgery or the anesthesia. I was initially told to take Benadryl, but that didn't work. I ended up needing a prescription for prednisone to stop the itching. Hope you feel better!! -

I went to the hospital my myself. I only told my mom about the surgery and she had to watch my daughter while I was in the hospital. I'm actually glad I didn't have anyone there, because all I really did in the hospital was sleep. I face time chatted on my iPad several times throughout the day with my daughter when I was actually awake. If I had to do it over again I would do it the same way. -

The only ones I really like are the vanilla premier protein from Costco. If I want a different flavor I add a little sugar free torani syrup in either peach or raspberry. -

I walked a lot after my surgery, but the best thing that seemed to help with the gas pain was a heating pad. Not sure if you have tried that already, but if not it might help =) -

I take prescription prilosec and it really seems to help. I'm only 10 days out, but I haven't been hungry since surgery. I'm hoping to see some weight loss soon too. I lost 4 pounds the day after surgery and the scale hasn't moved since. -

Now I'm curious who your surgeron is, I just noticed we are in the same area and there are only a few of them around here. I don't think it's mine because he has been great, but my friend had another local surgeon and he hated him. I really hope you find a Dr. who is more supportive! =)

My surgeon never said anything about not using a straw and I've been using one since 5 days post op. I have tried to avoid eating and drinking together, so I can't answer that. -

I keep telling myself that too, I've got to start losing weight eventually. I'm a week out and according to my dr's scale I'm down 4 pounds. It's very frustrating that the scale hasn't moved since 2 days after surgery.
