I'm 46 years old and have struggled with my weight my entire life.  In 2004 my life changed forever when my sweet husband, my high school sweetheart, and the father of my wonderful children passed away.  It was quite a struggle for the three of us for several years.  2012 is now upon us and my 2 beautiful children are basically grown.  My son is 23 and has graduated from Texas State University.  My daughter is 20 and is a sophomore at Texas State.  They live together and support each other as they travel thru their young adult lives.  I remarried 2 years ago and live in Louisiana.  I am happy and am learning that tho life can be scary at times, it is wonderful and amazing with all of its changes.  It is past time for me to have my weight under control.  So many things in my life are beautiful and exciting, I want to feel as good physically as I am learning to feel emotionally.  My time is now...and I insist on taking it!  So...I am joining this site so that I can learn more about the vertical sleeve and have others to turn to during my journey.  So....Here goes!!
