  1. Never heard it call "the plot" before... but yes, it does. LOL I guess not listing a body part I had in mind changes things, when I heard chocolate covered, I thought "laying down having hot chocolate sauce poured on me" so that would make my stomach the "slightly hairy waterbed" LOL
  2. It's be like a mildly hairly chocolate covered waterbed with all the loose sagginess going on at this point LOL

    SMH

This is so true... My ass feels so weird now from the sagging. So much so that when I stated that at a party... I was asked to display said issue... I complied LOL

    Serious acid

The reason for no water/food before bed is that it can still be in your stomach/pouch/sleeve when you lay down, so all the acid mixed fluid now has a very easy path back up your esophagus. Hopefully that helps you out! Good Luck!
  5. LOL Hey, you all started this, I'm just playing along
  6. See and I'm here reading that going... I could turn "Cashews" into "Matthews" and really make this a fun conversation LOL

    Pouch Reset

Any drastic reduction in volume will allow the pouch/sleeve to relax and contract, after a few weeks it will have shrunk up a bit, how much depends really on how much stretching was involved. It's not a full "reset" back to directly after post-op, but restarting is never a bad thing!
  8. Sleep issues are interesting, it's stated that if you have more than 1, you've got more than you realize. I've got sleep apnea and insomnia. I also have a slew of other sleep issues, sexsomnia, sleep walking, sleep talking (I've had several hour long conversations with my wife when we were dating in which I was actually asleep for). The fact that I'm slightly aware and conscious enough to make a better choice is good enough for me LOL.

    Serious acid

Are you on any acid reduction medication? The Sleeve has the potential side effect of creating or increasing acid reflux/GERD issues, you *SHOULD* be on medication specifically for Acid issues. Are you avoiding all foods and beverages for at least an hour before bed? I'd reach out to your team and let them know what's going on, they are going to want to adjust or prescribe you some medication... get in touch sooner than later, you don't want the increased acid to cause issues with your still healing staple line.
  10. LOL I've met and hung out with a decent list of porn stars too, included the Hedgehog himself Ron Jeremy.
  11. On the IF deal... since that's the point of this thread LOL Doing good. Less and Less issues with working within the time frames. I do still do some semi-conscious eating in the middle of the night, but typically it's restricted to fruit or a protein bar. Down another .6 today, so I'm back on track for my "hopes and dreams" goal of 200.
  12. I agree... just waiting on the wife's cycle LOL (well that and actually seeing her since she works 2 jobs and I maybe see her like... 3 hours a week.) I need a FWB for the both of us LOL (Yes the wife is bi) I think now that I'm getting all sexy, playtime might be making a long awaiting comeback LOL
  13. LOL I used to manage a very high volume adult store... several of them actually, There isn't a single thing you can say that will offend or shock me. Seriously. oh and... for your tracking https://jezebel.com/a-complete-breakdown-of-the-nutritional-content-of-seme-953356816

    8 Weeks Post-Op Problems

The trick is to make small changes and keep those changes for 2 weeks minimum before adding more changes. Pick 1 thing that would be an easy change, just 1. And make and stuck to that change. Then in 2 weeks , that change is now habit. Change something else and keep doing this until you have all those habits adjusted.
  15. It's not all sunshine and rainbows LOL Sometimes I wish I wasn't as emotional (or passionate) because it just always seems to cause issues... then couple that with the mild autism and it makes for one CRAZY experience LOL I could sell tickets to my mind if they created the technology to do so.
  16. I'm not really one to typically do that, it's your experience, you have 100% full control over it to do what you want to, if you don't want to include me for whatever reason, that's totally understandable and I've got no legs to stand on to force you to change that. But, I will always be there to provide my insight or information if I have it, if it's requested. No worries all around!
  17. LOL thanks.... it's odd that I relate to women much easier than I do men for whatever reason.
  18. Men have hormonal changes as well, it's not anywhere near as researched as women, but we certainly do. And if I got my wife on here, she'll tell you that I am effected by her cycle as well as effected by my own, actually I'm sure she'd say "OMG he's such an emotional b***h when he's having his man period." Not even getting into the issues with weight loss men have because fat stores estrogen and REALLY screws with our systems when the ratio of Testosterone to Estrogen gets all out of wack. I didn't take it personally really, just a lot of being ignored... which sucks. I get we are different... but I'm a pretty feminine male... and I've got zero issues with that fact. I'm a VERY sensitive, emotional person.
  19. Might help to note that I don't write with emotion implied, part of the "spectrum" stuff. Try not to read my text with any added emotion, for the most part... there is no emotion or hidden meaning in my text. My posts are exactly as they are, nothing extra or hidden. @AshAsh1 and a bunch of others can attest. I also don't assume anything, I provide facts and figures where possible, if it's something I'm writing that is personally something I've experienced, that's as far as it goes. I don't typically speak for someone else's experience.
  20. Sorry for the dups... I reported them all and requested deletion... not sure what happened there!
  21. I know you didn't ask me directly, but I figured I'd answer. I've been a daily weigher since surgery. I decided to try the IF because, the stalls were getting longer and longer and harder to break doing my normal routine. And I was convinced to try it by the science, I believe @GreenTealael posted the video, it just made perfect, logical sense. So, since it's free, I gave it a go, and only 3 days in, it does seem to be working.

    One day post op

Congrats and welcome to the Losers Bench! Her callout says she had the sleeve, and the leak test *generally* is for sleeve only as well.
  23. My comment wasn't directed at you at all. My comment was, "this is my answer whenever someone states that impedance measurements aren't accurate." That it's more for tracking the BF % loss as a trend. I've had my Aria since they came out and love it. Not sure where all the extra salt is coming from, nothing I stated was anything other than facts and my personal account. Nothing was directed at you personally at all.
  24. That's exactly my rebuttal, it's to track trends. It doesn't matter what the number is, if the number is constantly decreasing, you know you are losing fat.
