[b][i]My surgery date was 1/4/11, it has been 2 years since my sleeve, I have lost well over 110 pounds, I feel great, I have never had any complications. I have never threw up or been sick from any foods I have eaten, I haven't found anything I can't tolerate. It's been wonderful, it's like I have lost all of this weight, and I didn't really have to try, which was a first. This procedure modifies your portions for you, so you don't have to think about how much your eating, I get full and I stop, plain and simple. I do make better food choice, I do exactly what my Dr tells me to do, which I think has helped my success with the sleeve. It's been 2 years, I have lost way over 100 lbs, and I have went from a size 24 to a size 6!!!! YES 6, my goal was to be a size 12/14.... I tried not to shoot too high with my goal, but I was VERY pleased when I exceeded that goal and the weight kept coming off. Would I do it again, in a heart beat! I am NOT ashamed to walk in a room anymore, when I go to my child's games (because I am an EX-Cheerleader) I feel like people do NOT gasp at my appearance anymore, I guess people thought, since I was an athlete all my life and thin in school, that I would never get that fat, but after I had my children, the weight kept coming, I tried everything, my blood pressure was high and I was already on BP medications, I don't take anything now, and I am so happy to be thin again and have this Heavy Burden off of me. FOR ONCE in my life, losing weight WAS NOT a New Years Resolution for me and I thank GOD for that......[/i][/b]
