I HAVE NECK BONES :-) -
Finally moving again after an almost 2 week stall-- however, all of my clothes fit bigger, so I know I was losing something! I am now doing a Body Pump class (highly recommended) Step aerobics & a core strengthening class! So Im pretty sure my stall was due to muscle gain! I take Body Pump on Tuesdays & Thursdays, Step Aerobics on Monday following the core strengthening class :-) Wednesday & Fridays are strict cardio- 3 miles on treadmill at a 10 incline & 3.5-4.5 mph speed! Hope everyone is doing well & enjoying their "new" bodies as much as I am :-D

Anyone Not Had Hair Loss?
dying2Bhealthy replied to Debvzw's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am just a little over 3 months post-op & I started losing hair about 2 weeks ago. I have noticed my shoulder length, thick hair is thinner, but nothing to bizarre! -

November Sleevers 2011 Roll Call Shoutouts
dying2Bhealthy replied to 100%Sleeved's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi everyone! My 3 months was 5 days ago & I am currently down to 201.0 (ALMOST ONEDERLAND) I did not have a pre-op diet, and have lost 48 pounds! I went from a size 22-24 to a size 16-18! I will try to post a recent picture:-) -
SO excited that I finally reached 30lbs LOST (forever) To top it off, I did it during the holidays-- that would have NEVER happened without my sleeve!

STUCK at 227! I have been 227 for what seems like forever! I hate that I get on the scale EVERY SINGLE day-- sometimes more than once! Im hoping that buyers remorse doesn't start to set in :-( -

For Those Who Got Gastric Sleeve Surgery And Have Toddlers Or Small Children
dying2Bhealthy replied to Liliana Arleen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since surgery. Since 6 days post op I have been caring for my 3 year old & 18 month old pretty much on my own as my husband has returned to work. I bathe, rock, cuddle, feed, change, etc all on my own & no problems thus far (knock on wood) I told my surgeon before surgery that I would have this responsibility and he assured me that I would be fine. The main thing they worry about is an umbilical hernia (which unfortunately I already have and have had for almost 2 years) Now, I do however limit the amount of lifting I do & I also use my arms as much as possible, instead of my back & belly area! -
Geno, mine started right on track! I was expecting it to be a little whack, as it had done with previous surgeries, but not this time!
-
For me to head to the gym for my 2 week post-op. I am now 8 days out. However, couldn't I just go and walk on the treadmill at a very light (brisk) pace? Avoid any type of lifting, etc????? Thoughts?

Anyone on their "thickened liquid" stage?
-
I think my poor little body was literally "dying to be healthy" lol So it didn't take long to start dropping the pounds! Good luck to everyone else, & I certainly hope everyone is feeling as good as I am :-)
-
I didn't have a pre-op diet! Just the day before! But all of my measurements & weigh in were done the morning of surgery :-)
