yep same here. I went up 5 pounds, but it was gone in a matter of a few days. no worries!

I have one more pound till I am at 100 pounds lost and I feel like a new person. Doesnt it feel great? You are so beautiful, and you look so happy! Keep up the great work! It just keeps getting better and better from here!

The surgeon checks us for stones when we have the sleeve surgery. If you have any stones they take it out automatically. It helps reduce the chances of having two surgerys.

Yes I agree. it is totally normal for it to bounce around from day to day. try to weigh at the same time of day. I also agree not to look at the scale daily. Try the once a week thing, you will be so glad you do!

I went to the seminar for the lap band as well. I didnt even know about the sleeve option until they talked about it there. after hearing about it I changed to the sleeve as well. My 4 month anniversary was yesterday. I am almost 50 pounds down from surgery weight and 99 pounds down since my stating weight. I started on may 22nd. So almost 100 pounds in 7 months. It feels wonderful! I am so thankful to the sleeve. It is just the tool I needed. It is everything that was promised and more! Good luck to you, and I hope that you have your surgery soon!

woo hoo! this feels so good when you have to ask for a smaller size instead of a bigger one! I have been doing shopping at the goodwill because buying new during the big loss can be expensive.I find myself lost when I am shopping because I know what size I am, but when I hold it up to see if it looks like it will fit, the size just doenst match what my head thinks I am still. I have to try all of the clothes on just in case, because I just dont know if it will be to big or not. So much fun! I was able to buy a brand new workout suit with tags and all at the goodwill for 5 bucks. I didnt try it on just this once, thinking that no matter if it is too small I will shrink into it anyways. well I got it home and tried it on, and to my suprize it fit perfectly! I'm feeling so much smaller now! congrats to you ladies!!

lol....i thought at first that onderland refered to losing 100 pounds. there are still alot of abriviations that i dont know. i guess we are all learning.

i was allowed full liquids from day 2 till day 10, then mushies for the next 2 weeks, then full diet after that. you doc sounds really strict.... sorry. you can do it. just a little longer.

definatly lost a whole lot of dead weight. sorry this happened, but it sounds like you needed to get out of this bad relationship. NO ONE deserves to be treated like that. I would avoid relationships for a while so that you may work on finding your new you. good luck and ((hugs))

it can also be caused by a very low caloric diet.

I sometimes just order an appitizer. I just pick at it, and eat what I can. Dont worry about what the waitress thinks.... its none of their business why you arent eating all of your food. Just assure them that you are happy with it, and ask for a to go box. I love going out to eat now because I dont feel like everyone is staring at the fat woman eating. I also dont worry about them thinking..... she shouldnt be eating that, or she doesnt match her family. I always felt like someone was watching me eat, or looking at my family (all really skinny) and thinking how are they all skinny and she is so fat, she must not feed them and steals all their food. I know that it was silly thinking, but that is honestly how I felt. Now I just pay attention to the people that are with me and how good the food tastes....and the conversation...nothing else. It is so freeing.

sounds good. yes please keep me posted on what he says, and how much it will all cost. I know I am going to get a tummy tuck when I get to goal, but my legs and arms have been fairing pretty well so I dont think I will need them done. I have the mommy's tummy though so I know that will never recover. I could fit into a size 12 if it werent for my horrible pouch of a tummy. my legs and butt are so small, just the big old pouch in the front that is keeping me in a 14 right now.

i didnt have my surgery in mexico, but from what I have read on here, they do the blood work there before the surgery. you will do great. they have great facilities there and woderful docs that do this surgery all of the time. I would tell your primary doc incase you need any follow up care. other then that good luck to you!

No they wont....its just a matter of paperwork to get the approval. you can even pay extra to them for anything else that you want done at the time, so you wont have to pay for 2 surgerys. my friend got an eye lift approved through her surgery and she wanted a face lift too, so they just charged her for the actual procedure of the facelift and she didnt have to pay extra for the surgical procedure or anestisia (i dont know how to spell it lol) or the time in the facility.

OMG! you are almost there! good luck to you! But I know you dont need it because you will do great! I am so happy for you to start your new life! congrats!!!! oh and make sure to take lots of pictures along the way so you can see the difference because you will want to, and it is hard for our minds to wrap around the fact that we are losing weight so it is hard to see it when you are in the middle. I can look in the mirror and I cant tell that I have lost a pound, but when I look at the pictures Im like.....holy moses I have lost soooooo much! I'm doing the happy dance for you!

start mentioning back issues too. it helps if they are weighing you down a little...

I moved to mushies after a week too. no problems, just take it slow and add one thing at a time. as for the vitamins, as somebody else said try the gummies, also take them right before you go to bed. this way you are sleeping before they can make you sick. (believe me it works) sometimes our head plays tricks on us and while the actual pill might not be making you sick anymore the thought of how it has made you feel in the past can bring it right back up again, if you get my drift. sounds like you are doing great otherwise. congrats!

we are still able to eat anything....like its been said before, the sleeve is just a tool. we have to make the choice to change our old habits or it will not work. I too find myself hungry after a short period of time sometimes. I usually use this time to drink as it usually helps me to feel full again. you can do it! just keep telling yourself you did this for your health and your not going to quit!

just water weight, or poop. lol dont fret, look at the fact that you are soooooo close to goal. you have done so good, dont let this discourage you! you can do it!!!!! we are all cheering you on!

Just breathe.......try to relax, and know that you will get through this, and be stronger for it. this too shall pass, and you will get your surgery, and it will be a new start to a better life. ((hugs))
