Sassygirl06 replied to MeMeMEEE's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I dont remember when I hit a 100 pounds down...but I did make it to onederland in may I believe. I am definatly going to have plasitics. I have about another 30 pounds to lose before I will have a tummy tuck and a boob lift and plumping . I have the money saved and the doc picked already. I will probably schedule a consult with him by the end of summer, hopefully I will be down those 30 pounds by then good luck ladies! -

2 Very Different Vsg Philosophies -- What's Yours?
Sassygirl06 replied to Fyrefly's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know that being on a liquid diet for 2 weeks before surgery and then 2 weeks after the surgery was enough to drive me absolutely nuts! I'm not so sure that even with the sleeve as your tool that anyone could manage that long on that kind of restriction. my nut wanted me to get my protein from "real" food. I'm glad that she did. as far as losing hair...we all do have hair loss, but that doesnt mean all of your hair is going to fall out. I would just notice extra on my clothing and in the shower, I never got thin on the head. good luck to you! -
2 Weeks Out And Cheating With Solids
Sassygirl06 replied to Onederland's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I had the same pain...it doesnt last...it will go away but it took me until about the end of month 2 to not have it anymore. I had a case of serious buyers remorse for a while there. thankfully it passed and now I love my sleeve! -
In Need Of Advice To Get Through A Stall!
Sassygirl06 replied to MiTurner247's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
just keep up the exercise and the high protein. The stall will last as long as it takes for your body to adjust to this culture shock you will get there! -

The Horrible Feeling That You Are Done
Sassygirl06 replied to Sassygirl06's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I hear that a slight regain is normal. however you dont want to have that turn into your worst nightmare! have you ever tried replacing a meal with a shake? or even 2? then just eat what you want for the other meals? I have also heard alot of good things about the 5 day pouch test...where it helps get some shrinkage back....mabye that would help. hope all the best for you! good luck!! -

74 Days Post Op...ok To Drink Alcohol
Sassygirl06 replied to rizabonita's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have been able to handle alcohol....but it does hit me a lot quicker then before. I also find myself wanting to drink more now. Be really careful, im not saying that you will turn into an alcoholic or anything...but we are at a higher risk of developing other dependancies after this surgery. I know that I crave it more then I ever did before. plus it will slow down the weight loss due to the extra calories that goe down all to easy. good luck! and have fun! just be carefull -

Sassygirl06 replied to clancy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Extreme Thirst
Sassygirl06 replied to I am done mooing!'s topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
having the thrist is a blessing...you need to drink a lot of water to be able to flush out that fat. I am always thristy. It is hard to quinch it at first during the begining cause you cant gulp...you can only drink a little at a time, but it gets better with time. good luck! -
I dont wear anything. I have been fortunate not to have much jiggle.

Sound Off On Post Op Appetite
Sassygirl06 replied to feszyk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I still had hunger, just not as much as before, and of course I fill up alot faster then I used to. I am 9 months out now and I still fill up on about 1/2 a cup of food. I definatly get hungry though. I have noticed that I can forget to eat at times though, if i am distracted. good luck!
