Tummy tuck before and after photos
Sassygirl06 replied to Sassygirl06's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Wow! Omg! I am so sorry you had that happened! I guess I will count myself as lucky! I am so happy you recovered from that! That is so scary. One more surgery for me to go through...hope nothing like that happens! You are a guy, so I guess you don't have to worry about the boob surgery....unless you are planning on that too...which if you are, that is cool. I wish for the best for you! -
Did you have them before surgery? Is there any way you could be pregnant? If you didn't have pre surgery, then you will probably start having them again soon....and if you did have them pre surgery, and there is any way that you could be pregnant....I would get checked ASAP! Surgery didn't stop my monthly, it only made it more regular. Good luck!

Eat until you are satisfied.....don't ever force anymore then is comfortable or you will be throwing it up anyways. Everyone is different. Everyone will fit different amounts at different stages, and be able to tolerate different foods as well. There is no normal, but what works for you. Good luck!

Why did you have to have a drain in so long? If you don't mind me asking. I got 2 drains with my tuck, one was removed day 6 and the second was removed day 13. Did you just have a lot of fluid drainage? -
how to break through the dreaded 3 week stall?
Sassygirl06 replied to Heather Meyer's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Nothing. It will break on its own. It happens to most, and you are just starting to lose, so it will obviously break on its own. Sounds like you are doing everything just right as it is. Just be patient.....and stop weighting yourself! -
Those of you that experienced hair loss: How did you deal with it?
Sassygirl06 replied to Daydra's topic in The Gals' Room
I didn't have a lot, but I was a slow loser, and had a lot to begin with. I did cut my hair very short, and I got highlights with lowlights as well to add depth, and the appearance of more volume. Good luck! -

Breast reduction/lift consultation

Well first...how big are you? I have looked at hundreds of lifts without implants and I haven't liked any of them. I am scheduled on the 22nd to get a lift with implants because I want the girls to be full again. I am a dd now...but I don't want them smaller, I want them higher with more volume. Have you already lost all of your weight as well, because they do go more south and get smaller with all the weight loss. Also....make sure to see the plastic surgeons results with previous lifts. You get what you pay for, and sometimes cheaper isn't better. I already had my tummy tuck with my plastic surgeon and I couldn't be happier with the results...can't wait for those girls to be high and mighty again! Good luck to you! -
Are you more hungry around time of cycle?
Sassygirl06 replied to LovelyOne's topic in The Gals' Room
Yup! And....I can eat more too....don't let it bother you to much, I usually would pack on a couple of pounds over a few days...(water weight) ....then after my period was done I would lose all of that, and then some more. That was during the losing phase. U am in maintenance now, and I still do the same thing, except without the extra loss at the end. I have just learned to be a little bloated for a few days. good luck! -
Soon as he is rising to the occasion....and you are feeling frisky enough. Just no acrobatics yet...save that for at least 29-30 pounds lost! Hehe...don't want get anything sprung....well at least anything that's not supposed to be sprung...hehe Good luck and have fun!

Ok, so I think I may have already replied to this one, but I'm gonna do it again just in case...... HELL YEAH IT IS! LOL! Much better, much easier, much more fun....exciting...and I am a wild crazy woman now. My husbands head is spinning...he doesn't know what the heck to do....but he loves it! Hehe

My husband was very supportive. I didn't tell any of my boyfriends. Lol! Omg! I am just kidding...hehe But really didn't tell anyone else besides my husband, and he couldn't have been happier! He has been a skinny man his whole life and when we got married, 19 years ago now, I was skinny too.....so he didn't really sign up for the fat wife. He stuck with me, through thick and thin, and now I am thin again....and he is so excited he paid for me to get a tummy tuck already, and next up is new girls! He didn't really want me to get plastic surgery, but I really wanted it so he said he would do anything to make me happy! I am one lucky girl! Good luck to you!

Very true...the only thing that helps is if you happen to be a slow loser, which most complain about that on the other hand. The rapid weight loss puts our bodies in shock, just like chemo does to cancer patients....and hair falls out. For some not as much as others, and I really believe it has to do with how slowly or quickly we lose our weight. No amount of supplements or protein, or certain shampoo is going to change that! good luck to you all....oh and btw....the hair always grows back! Lol

I have noticed that I start to feel sore if I don't wear my binder for a while. Do you still feel like that too, this far out? -

I got 6 weeks no lifting anything over 10 pounds. You would probably get at least 6 weeks off being a nurse. Thank you;) -

So I had the luck of catching a chest cold that is making recovery hard. Coughing hurts...thankfully I was recovered as much as I am before I caught this! -

Funny NSV ( well I think so anyways)
Sassygirl06 replied to Sassygirl06's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I used to hate looking at myself in the mirror. Now I have a big one in my house that my husband jokes with me about...he says I only got it so I can look at myself in it. Hehe. I have to admit it is nice to walk by a mirror now and not shudder in discust at the reflection. Of corse I still see things I would like to look better, but overall I am happy with the woman in the mirror looking back at me again. -

My daughter and I were on vacation and had walked into a store that we have never been in. As we were walking around the produce section I looked across the store and I saw two people that had on our same outfits. The one I noticed first was the lady dressed like me, only she was much thinner then I was. Then I noticed the other woman, and realized she had the same outfit on as my daughter, I walked over to my girl to point the two out to her, and then it hit me! I wasn't looking across the store at two different women wearing our outfits, I was looking into a big mirror that was placed there ( I guess to make the store look bigger) and so of course I was seeing us....I just didn't realize that I was so much thinner then my mind gave me credit for. I still pointed it out to her while laughing at myself....we both started laughing so hard, that I am sure that anyone else that was around must of thought we were either completely nuts, or just on some kind of drugs! Lol Well that I consider an NSV right there....not even recognizing myself in a mirror! Haha Hope you enjoyed my silly little NSV! -
Love it! I have had that happen a couple times now, and I am all like a little squeaky school girl when it happens! Hehe
