I recently lost my health insurance and have been experiencing pain where my port for my lap band is connected to my stomach muscle tissue , the pain started yesterday at work I used to see Dr Uchal but haven't been down to meet the new Dr's who took his place at Allegheny general in Pittsburgh pa. I didn't do anything to cause the sharp pains but itw lasted about an hour I couldn't even brush my hand over the area of skin on my belly withoutd sharp pain occurring . Then the pain was gone ! I was able to rub,push, and wiggle my port are without any pain but then last night it came back and is still there, my Dr's office called me back andd said I may have torn the stitches that holds my port in place ???? Any thoughts on this?
