Alicia and Fabu I wish you two luck. I want to have the surgery but afraid the insurance company is going to deny me. I have high blood pressure and I have Lupus but my BMI is 39. I have tried, I've been wanting this surgery for years not but afraid of the disappointment I will get from the insurance company. I am not in a situation where I could self-pay. Again best of luck for you two.

Wow tomorrow, that is quick....did you have to pay the whole thing at once.....9999 is a lot of money....but I want this surgery....who is the doctor and what all you had to go through getting prepared for the surgery.

Hi Darkkmocha, if you don't mind please tell me how much the lapband surgery is going to cost you out of pocket.

I just wanted to get some feedback on the lapband surgery. I was told you can have the surgery one day and return to work a week from that day. I was told our health insurance won't cover the surgery but where there's a will there's a way. I am located in the Atlanta area, do any of you know any good surgeons for this procedures.
