I am a technical writer from Detroit.  The mom of one son, one cat and one dog.

I have struggled with weight for too many years to count and often wondered if I had just missed something and could not grasp the real reason I was overweight.

Well...this year i found out that my weight situation was really the Big "O" dangerously close to the even bigger "MO" and I decided to get my rear in gear...so to speak.

This has been the hardest thing I have ever done, and I am not going to give up because I want to do all I can to live to see my son grow up.

I am here to make a difference and learn all I can.
