Hey everyone. Day 28....4.8 mile trail run with the dogs again. I took it easy in them, apparently they have no interest in running 2 days in a row. They let it be known. So total of 128.3 miles. Three more days for me...shooting for 140.

Wow you guys are all doing so well. I'm so pleased at how this thing has grown and I hope next month is even better. I hope you all stay in it and try to top this month in October. It just goes to show you....goal setting really works. And not just vague "I'm gonna get in shape" goals. But specific, measurable goals that you can reach for....it's helped me and I'm inspired by all of you for reaching for this goal. Keep it up.

I did a bad bad thing.

Well, I hope you've realized that the dizziness was probably not from a lack of protein but more likely dehydration. I've never heard of lack of protein causing dizziness but I could be wrong. I also thing your above reaction....not coming back to the site....is quite the over reaction. If you disagree with her...or me...then just say so and move on. If you have a masters in psychology then I assume you realize how the "I'm taking my ball and going home" approach will not help you in the end. -
Did a great 6 mile trail run this morning with the dogs. They are beastly little trail runners....till they get tired. I never thought I'd live to see the day I could out distance them. It is nice though having running companions that never complain and always seem genuinely happy to hit the trail. So.......Day 27...123.5 miles total.

Ouch.... Sorry. I bet the coughing does not feel good. Hope it goes away quickly. -

Oh I'll definitely be looking in and encouraging everyone. I never thought so many people would jump in. I thought it would just be me and Laura.....and only because I shamed her into it. Oh btw....just got this from last Saturdays 10K.

Nice job everyone. I'm so proud of all of y'all. Thanks to everybody that jumped on board and is giving it a go. You're all winners. Everyone is doing great and the miles are adding up fast. Day 26 for me....4.9 miles. 117.5 total. 5 more days for me...likely one of those will be a rest day so....I'm winding down. Someone else will have to start a new thread next month as I doubt I'll be able to. But hopefully by November I'll be able to put up some walking miles.

You are bad to the bone.....very impressed with all your miles....especially for a self professed non-exerciser.

It's not uncommon for folks here to not like the camera....and even scowl at it a little. But you rarely see it on a selfie. What where you telling yourself not to take that selfie.....and then took it anyway? Do you often argue with yourself? Hear voices? I'm worried about you.

I know you do a lot of work from a computer right? Have you ever considered a stand up desk? Sitting for such long periods is awful for our hamstrings.

I answer to anything. My own wife sometimes calls me beanhole. Not sure it's a compliment. :/ -
You guys are doing great today. I'm a little sore from all that bridge climbing h yesterday but I woke up to clear skies and what feels like the first break from summer heat we've had all year... So I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a trail run with the dogs. We did 5.5 easy miles for a total of 107.5.

Laura a new bike for you would be awesome. A month ago you wanted nothing to do with it.... Now look at you.... Investing in your future fitness.
