    Its almost winter!

Sure wish I could go to Tahoe. I'd do the laundry for a month. LOL....why is it every time I see this pic I think about that movie "Sinbad and the Cyclops?"

Fiddle....I am allergic to spinach but I put kale in my Protein shakes all the time. I Mix it up in the Vitamin with some Fiber one as well. It comes out quite tasty, extra filling and still sweet. The kale cannot be tasted bit it does add volume. I will also occasionally throw in a few pieces of frozen fruit which will sweeten it up even further if need be.

Just so you know....everyone here at the Butter Ranch loved this. But missus Butter said she's barely gonna manage my miles.

Lots of people add Protein Powder to their coffee. Some powders work better than others. Not sure if anyone uses RTD Protein shakes.

    100 mile challenge

Howdy fitness freaks. Today marks the 30 day countdown till my long awaited TT surgery. Damn I'm excited. To Celebrate, I'm going to spend the next 30 days doing something I've never done before.....I'm going to run 100 miles in the next 30 days. Certainly other people have done it...even people on this forum have done it. But it will be my biggest monthly total to date. I never ran a step voluntarily until last year. Since then, my life and body have changed so much.....I can't imagine not having this great gift I've found. To me running is like a newly found super power....one that I never thought I'd have. So I'm going to run 100 miles total between now and my surgery date of 9/30. If anyone wants to join me...walk, run, hike, bike .........whatever you can do. BTW Laura-Ven has agreed to do the 100 miles with me.....so I'd appreciate y'all's help in making sure she does it. She needs your "motivation".

    Tummy tuck today!

That's great. Glad you got rid of the drains. My follow up isn't for another week. How much output did you have to get to before he took out a drain. One of mine is already very low....like 20/day. But one is still around 180cc/ day. But it's nice and clear and hopefully will decrease with each day.

LOL...I froze to death last winter. My suggestion is Protein coffee....lots of it. And we got real good use out of the fireplace.

    October 100 Mile Challange!

Great question and yes.....up until now I've been wearing one of these. http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.do?id=93735 I won't have to wear it again thankfully....but it has made all the difference. It stays in place and held my biggest problem area in place while running. The first couple of times it seemed uncomfortable but I got used it is very quickly. It became no big deal very quickly.
  13. Me too Jane. The down time was definitely the hard part for me going in. But somehow I knew after surgery it would feel slightly different. It does. Recovery is on my mind now....not much else. Yes, I want the clock to hurry up and move. But I feel pretty good about it now....not much anxiety (like I had before the surgery). I put a pic on my TT thread. Good luck Jane. Looking forward to hearing your progress.

    Tummy tuck today!

Alright. Finally got a pic. Keep in mind I'm hunched over like Quasimodo. It will be even better when I can stand up straight.

    Tummy tuck today!

Day 4 and I'm feeling very good. No pain pills needed. Wish I could stand up straight but other than that not having much problems....other than bored already. I'll try to get some pics when I can but not sure how since I cannot stand up straight yet. I've got 3 drains. One is barely producing 20cc a day but one is upward of 180cc yesterday. But it's not very dark, kinda pink cool aide color. Hopefully it will slow down soon.

If you can't breathe, it's too fast. Ease back just a bit. Your lungs will improve very rapidly.
