My Dr. Says If I Gain 1 More Pound I Will Be Given An Extra Month Visit But....
Butterthebean replied to KeeWee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Just curious.....how big were your portions before? You're saying you get full easily, why get sleeved? How will smaller portions make you feel less malnourished? Less food equals less nourishment. I do not understand but I agree with Laura....if you can't eat much now, your problem is not food intake. Therefore the sleeve will do you no good. So why have it? -
After watching that, I may have to ban myself. Missus butter is concerned that I watched it all the way till the end. So am I.

Hey Mark. Ever do any research on MAF training? Phil Maffetone? He's trained some of the best triathletes that have ever lived. Low carb cardio can be very successful, not to mention preferable to insulin resistant, carb addicted folks like myself. It's all a matter of keeping the HR in the proper zone.

Yeah I've been perusing the bypass forums, and they're dead. I can't find one crazy lunatic over there. They must all be in hibernation.

Gone, let me check under their skirts. Nope, the black one is the madam. She's got a little canine va-jay-jay. -
I posted this yesterday in one of those threads. Tell me what you guys think....cause my opinion is asking that question here....which is better?......will get you all the wrong answers.

You guys.....please remind me to stay out of the lapband forum. As much as I want to intersperse with all WLS patients, I'm tired of reading about what a dreadful thing I've done by cutting out 85% of a perfectly healthy stomach. If it was so fucking healthy, then why would it allow me to eat 2 large pizzas without even telling me I might be full?

Sheesh I hope so too.

Well lets see.....I'm down 175 lbs give or take. That would equate to 5"..... So yeah....it's true! Unfortunately, I didn't take any "before" pics of that.

Lapband Vs Sleeve Vs Bypass Surgery
Butterthebean replied to hayleylamas's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Agreed.....most people would happily accept a foreign object into their body if it would keep them alive and standing upright for a few more years. -
There are those who think it's gotten bigger. I'm sure one will chime in soon.

Hello. My Name Is Revs And I'm A Carboholic And Hungry!
Butterthebean replied to Madam Reverie's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Madam rev. I know we're all different, and I would never tell anyone to go against their nuts advice. I will say for me the dried fruit would not only be a trigger because it's high GI, but it's also rather dense in calories. Meaning for the calories it doesn't do much to fill me up. But the glycemic load is what concerns me the most and also makes the biggest impact on my appetite and my ability to lose weight. -
