Just putting it out there, so 'dirty' little secrets may see the light of day!

Thank the godless heavens the pic is very tiny on my phone, and my eyes aren't what they used to be. -

The thought of Kim Jong Il in knickers is the stuff of night terrors. So no....no pics. -
Well I think the decision not to tell about the surgery usually comes very early in the process. Falling off the good eating band wagon often comes after a period of enthusiastic compliance....meaning later. So I'm betting usually the 2 decisions aren't related. But I don't know. Just my speculation.

I ate gelato tonight. That is all.

My Dr. Says If I Gain 1 More Pound I Will Be Given An Extra Month Visit But....
Butterthebean replied to KeeWee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Whoa....really irresponsible advice here. First of all, you're judging her nut based on what? Her age? And you're a what? Not a nut? Not a bariatric surgeon? Not a dietician? Then maybe you're not qualified to set up this persons weight loss program. Secondly....."if two meals is working for you".....it's not working. She is seeking WLS. Obviously her meal plan now isn't working. And obviously she doesn't know more than the nut or surgeon so she shouldn't be trying to modify the program to fit her desires. And really neither should anyone here. I'm not bashing anyone, but folks there are lines we should not cross. And telling someone to make up their own plan and lie to the doctor is over the line. -
That's funny cause my BIL and SIL who are here with us are from STL. They actually split there time between there and Jefferson City MO.

You're killing it this month. Nice job.

I can autograph it....but that costs extra.

He may have been thinking "have you done something different with your hair?" Or, of he's unhappy with his own weight and struggling with accepting that he needs to take action, he may feel embarrassed because you did take action, and his denial only works if he doesn't bring it up. That's just speculation but I've had a couple people in my life with the same issue.

Oh.....NSV for me today. Went to a public pool this afternoon and got in without feeling like I needed a shirt on. First time ever. Gotta love Texas weather .....hotel pool in November. Yes I was showing off the abs. I paid for them, I'm showing them off.

I just run/walked the San Antonio half marathon. Wow what fun. I've missed these big races. Over 25000 people. That was crazy. This week I get released to go back to full time running. Miles to date....47.8 Here's me and my SIL after the race. It was friggin 87 in San Antonio today. Sheesh.

Protein Is Not Protein?
Butterthebean replied to lindalou's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you can't tolerate whey, you could use plant based proteins and take a BCAA supplement which can be found at any vitamin/supplement store. -
Don't give up. Strive for half your goal. You've got half a month left. Don't let it go by without bettering yourself. You can still take action.

Me And 6 Months Later Me.

Nice job LSL. So nice to finally see you. I'm hoping for a pic of you Kungfu-ing the snot out of someone next. -
Welcome home. Unfortunately I'm in San Antonio for the weekend. That's why you didn't see me. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.

Lynda you look terrific. I've never heard of a throw back potluck but I think that sound awesome. Slightly related, I did see a throwback triathlon where the competitors had to wear clothing and use equipment from the 1890s....nothing else. Meaning full body swimsuits (but not wet suits), old timey bicycles and the running shoes from that era were like men's dress shoes today but without the heel. Ok...don't know why y'all needed to know that.

No one is complaining at my house.

I saw that. I think it's best we stay off that particular thread. Emotions run high and people get defensive when others say something negative about their choices....especially when it isn't true. (but to be clear I didn't see you taking any pot shots...you were nothing but nice) I only ventured over there to educate myself on the other options. and to verify all the hear-say I had read on vst. In doing so I realized there's a lot of hear-say over there about the sleeve as well. And much of it wrong. I'd like to help dispel those misconceptions but it's hard to do without people on both sides of the debate getting hot.

I'm tired of looking at naked dancing videos on YouTube. I'd rather make my own. Laura get over here and hold the camera.

That's the thread that set me off yesterday. I don't know why it rubbed me wrong. Not the subject of conversation....it was just the attitude. Good thing none of us around here have crappy attitudes.
