Oh yeah. Shitted. You're right. Peanut oil. I forgot.

Honestly y'all....you cannot compare fried turkeys to KFC fried chicken. It's nothing like it. As junkie said, the key is you make a tasty hot pepper/cayenne/butter mixture and inject every region of that dead bird with a syringe. I like to make mine extra spicy cause that's just how we roll here in the south. Then you drop that sucker in hot canola oil and the skin seers immediately sealing in all the juices. It's actually the tastiest way to cook a turkey and if you're not afraid of a little butter it's quite healthy compared to fried chicken. It is, at least, low carb. I've made quite a few and even dated one for a while I think during my drinking years.

Tookies in Kemah used to be on some list for the 10 best burgers in America. They ground up bacon into the beef. The pattie came out a little on the purple side but tasted like bacon heaven crash landed in your mouth.

You are one skinny little fungus hunter.

Last night my wife snored so loud she knocked the satellite dish out of alignment. I'm telling all her secrets because she made me go to Walmart twice this weekend. That's just too much.

OMG you people do not wanna know how my wife eats French fries and ketchup. She puts the French fry in her mouth.....then squeezes some ketchup in her mouth to chase it. If it's one of those little fast food ketchup packages, she just sucks a little out. I've reminded her that minimum wage hands have touched those packages.....and minimum wage hands seldom wash...I should know.

We can't all be perfect. -
There's more but you better hurry. These little bastards go down so easy.

5 mile run this morning....brrrrrr but I did get to wear some sexy spandex running tights that I would have never worn before. I'm thrilled to be back to running 5 miles at a time so quickly. I thought for sure it would be 2 months of building back up but I'm only slightly slower than before surgery. So...MTD...66.2

Hey clairebombs....I'm with you. Never mind the weight loss.....overall health is my goal. Long life is way more important than a number on the scale. Not to mention quality of said life......and looking better nekkid is also a huge bonus. -

I actually have heard this several times. There is some scientific correlation between ghrelin and memory. However I can't recall any thing concrete between being sleeved and reduced memory. Anything read in here is purely anecdotal. I have read something that suggested the switch from the "all you can eat" diet to very low cal/low carb diet suddenly can leave a person a bit hazy and lacking in concentration. But that has nothing to do with ghrelin nor is it permanent. -

That's why he's an ex. -
I forgot to mention the shrimp was wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese!

So no more staple talk? Damn GG. I knew it was just a matter of time. As for food porn....I had steak and shrimp for breakfast. Can't get more low carb than that. Plus the ribeye binds with the staples on the way out. <sorry....needed one more farting....I mean parting.....shot>

I've given it a lot of thought.... And yes, it's the only one. On another note....I pooped out a big screen tv this morning .....left over from my TT surgery. That was a nice bonus I didn't see coming. My surgeon is really advanced. He said if I go in for a boob job I might poop out an all expenses paid vacation to Hawaii. I'm strongly considering.

My FIL's one redeeming quality is that he makes really good gumbo as an appetizer for thanksgiving dinner every year.

Two weeks from Plastics - progress so far
Butterthebean replied to CowgirlJane's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I had a tummy tuck 8 weeks ago. http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/266280-tummy-tuck-today/?fromsearch=1 I just got my doctors release to go back to work and full exercise. It's been a much tougher recovery than the sleeve but indescribably gratifying and I feel 100% recovered. I just need to get back in shape. But I didn't lose as much fitness as I thought I would. -

Oh yeah....I remember now. Well my memory is good enough that.....wait......damn. I forgot what I was going to say. Oh yeah. No memory loss. I will say it's refreshing to see someone who's not worried about hair loss or saggy skin. -

No no....you won't see the staples. The really advanced doctors use staples too small to see. From the worlds smallest digestible stapler. -

Yeah....it was going along just fine and then.......SQUIRREL! -
I'm not familiar with any c25k-like programs for cycling. But as for getting confident and comfortable....a huge parking lot might be a safe place to practice....especially if no one is using it at the time. Like a school on the weekends. As for your buttocks....at some point if you're going to ride enough...a good pair of cycling shorts are invaluable. They make mountain bike shorts that look like cargo shorts with the internal pad (chamois). Adjustment of the seat is critical for comfort and pedaling efficiency. Not just up and down but also fore and aft ......and tilting back and forth. Keep practicing in a wide open area with no obstacles so you get used to those gears.

It wasn't exactly "people"..... that would suggest it was more than 1.
