Also, mine iPhone app is still timing out as bad as ever.

I'm still seeing the "<br> <br>" stuff on PMs.

Birth Control Comes With A Weight Limit

I'm curious how someone can say for sure plan B is working. Isn't it possible that one of the partners has a fertility problem? -

It sends electrical impulses I believe through your body as you hold it. Some kinda weird magic. -
Thanks for that article Laura. We appreciate the information sharing. You are a good steward of the community. And so on and so forth.

This is a Public Service Announcement concerning Stalls & Plateaus
Butterthebean replied to gamergirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yep....that's what I have. I had mine measured yesterday by the trainer with the calipers, and the number she got was very close to my Omron. I'd still like to get measured by one of those bod pods. They are very accurate. -
Indeed it's all marketing. And just like the "reduced fat" foods they "protein enriched" foods are still just this side of useless. The best thing anyone can do in the grocery store is shop the perimeter and stay out of the middle aisles. Produce....meat....dairy....checkout. Go home. Done. Live a long healthy life.

The bugs on the website may be mostly fixed....but the mobile app still needs some work. I know Alex is aware of the problems so no point in rehashing them. But the question is when?

Members using our mobile apps are shown all content from all forums, no matter the surgery they've selected in their member profile. We're working on changing this as well as releasing a new app asap. All 5 of your issues are confirmed and they'll be resolved with the next release of our app. Is there an approximate timetable on this? Will it also fix the PM problem that has persisted since the old site was still around?

What's Your Food Philosophy: Abstain Forever Or Eat In Moderation?

LOL...I was kinda baffled by your post....but hey....you lost 31 pounds so hats off!!! -
We are complaining because there is little action on the forum. Not much the team can do about that.

I have an Omron as well and those things tell the real story.....not the scale. The scale will eventually move for you, trust in that. But if the Omron is showing you progress now, you're doing it right. Keep it up. -
So What Exactly Is "normal Eating?"
Butterthebean replied to NMJG's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I still like sweet stuff....can't deny that. But I abstained while I was losing. Now that I'm done I will allow a treat every once in a while, but the deal I made with myself is it has to be a really good treat. Nothing I can buy in a convenience store. I'm talking homemade pecan pie....Authentic gelato....4 star cheesecake. And I will usually have 1 normal size serving when those rare opportunities present. I'm sure there will be a piece of pie on thanksgiving and there will not be another till Xmas. After that who knows when because I don't plan them or seek them out. But I won't let them become too frequent either because that leads to the road to ruin for me. -
Jane....I really thought I was going to be the same way. I thought I was going to be wearing my binder for months. Instead, I've only worn it once in the last 2 weeks and that was after the first day I went swimming. I could feel the swelling so I slept in the binder that night.....next morning, swelling gone. If I overdo it again, I'll put it back on to keep the swelling at bay. That's the best thing it can do for me right now. But other than that, I'm happy to leave it at home and wear more form fitting clothes.

LOLOL....we are indeed 2 peas in a pod cause I have that book on my shelf. The author owns Rivendell Bicycle and frankly.....those are the coolest bikes ever built. It is my long time dream to own one. His website is like pure bike porn to me.

That's great. That was exactly the point of the challenge, to do more then you would have otherwise done. Great job, really great job. Ran 5 1/2 miles in 35° rain this morning. Not the best of conditions, but better than the heat of summer. 71.7 MTD.

At the gym with the calipers. So it's so-so accurate. But that number agrees with my omrom body fat analyzer. I would love to get tested with one of those bod pods.
-
Love you too.

The last book I read was "Tread Lightly: Form, Footwear, and the Quest for Injury-Free Running"..... A history of the evolution of running shoes. Yes I am that much of a geek.

My wife owns every season of Buffy on DVD and knows every episode by heart.
