I am 42 years old mother of 2 and have been over weight all my life. I have lost weight only to put it back on. 5 years ago I lost 84 pounds but have over the years put most of it back on and no matter how hard I tried I could not get it off again. So one day was talking to a friend who had lost over 100 pounds and she told me about the lap band. So her I am 1 week after the procedure and it is all new to me, I am scared to see what happens when I eat food again and excited about the journey ahead of me.
