Just in case, 4 all the New people. When your bands are complete, your first month or so, you are healing, and your band is open, until you get your fills. So its OK if you put on a few pounds at first. (Post-Op). Don't Beat yourself up or get discouraged. Stay on track. Just writing this thread because, I've been reading alot of new Bandsters feeling down 4 gaining a few pounds in the beginning. I don't think their Doctors are giving them proper instructions and step by step information on how the Lap Band works. That's why I love this site because we all help each other....

and also dont keep going 2 the scale it will drive you nuts trust me i did it. Now i get on the scale every 2-3 weeks...Your doing great stay on track and you'll do well.

Im also shocked your dr is acting like that. My Dr. sees me every 6-7 weeks 2 keep me on track, and 2 monitor my progress. I would have a talk with him and find out why he feels that your next fill shoud be when your ready and not when he feel you should have one.....After a fill my Dr. tells me not 2 eat for at least 12 - 24 hours maybe thats why your having stomach cramps.......Feel better....keep your head up and Stay Positive....

Im so sorry your in pain...It sounds like a air pocket it happened 2 me also and it lasted a week and a half but it went away i just kept walking around the house and it woud go away slowly until it was gone ...i hope it goes away soon feel better....Jim
