First of all i would like to say that it was a long road of appointments, Dr visits!! first i had a ppo insurance plan, then my primary doctor told me if i had an HMO plan that they may consider me at full coverage considering my situation with health problems, so i switched over to an HMO plan, thats when all the appointments started a WHOLE YEAR OF DR VISITS!! psych evaluation, i had to get an UGI and that was not fun and nasty!!!  I passed my psych evaluation "YAY"  once that was done i got a visit to the Surgeon and once i had that set reality stepped in, and i got really nervous, once i met Dr Martin he made me feel at ease and my appointment was SET fo NOVEMBER 24, 2010, i had my surgery at HUNTINGTON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, the experience was great i was an outpatient, so it was in and out, they weighted me b4 my surgery and i was at 245 lbs, my surgery was done and it now about getting use to the new life style as far as what you put in your mouth, and taking the time on how to chew and how long, there were times when i did chewed and swallowed, the first time i felt like i was going to DIE and i did to my self i was about to call 911!!! LOL i guess you have to have a few scary episodes to realize how your body is accepting the items that go down... then i was on a roll !! and all of a sudden i felt like i couldn't keep anything down and just by curiosity i decided to take a pregnancy test! and by my surprise i WAS PREGNANT i found that out on january 4th 2011, i was very happy and excited but at the same time i wasn't because of all the ups and downs of that whole year, but it is what it is it is now october 21,2011 my baby boy is now 2 1/2 months  and just yesterday i got my 1st fill and now im back on the ball and really excited to start loosing the weight... thanks for taking the time to read a lil about my story <3 irene'
