  1. Tracking your food intake is the best gift you can give yourself. Since I started tracking again, I'm aware of what I'm doing to myself. My biggest problem was not enough protein and too many carbs. Now that I'm back on track, the weight is dropping again.

  2. Grateful for finally getting back on track

  3. Looking forward to a full week at the gym and a full week of being focused with my protein. I WILL do this!

    Sleeve stretch?

I'm glad I found this thread. I was sleeved 11/2011 and to date I've lost 75lbs. I feel like I should have lost more. It seems like I can eat too much and I have a carb demon. Any suggestions?

    Flavorless Protein? Suggestions plz.

I like unjury flavorless powder. I add it to hot or cold drinks or food. Yesterday I added it to a bowl of grits and the taste of the grits did not change.
  12. Premier protein...absolutely the best. I purchase from SAMs club. Vanilla is great. I sometimes add decaf coffee or fruit. Chocolate is a also good. Iadd coffee to it as well. This is the only protein I've found that does not have an after taste

I Need To Get Back On Track

Hello all. I desperately need to get back on track. I've been at a weightloss stall for about 2 months now. I know it's primarily because of the carb monster. They are such great slider foods andsoooo bad for you. Also, I just joined a gym 2 weeks ago and am going at least 3-4 days per week. This is my first time exercising since having surgery. I am super excited. I know what to do and what to eat, it's just so darn hard to get on and stay on track. I had to admit to myself that I've been sabotaging myself and I dont know why. I've made a new commitment to myself and truly realize that I didn't go through the pain and adjustment of surgery only to go backwards. I'm moving forward to finish what I started in November 2011. Please keep me encouraged. I need you VSGers.
  14. Hello family...it's been a loonnnnggg time since I've posted anything. Bottom line, I've got to get back on track. I've discovered peanut butter crackers and my stomach loves them---but I know they are not good for me. I'm down from highest weight of 354(322 day of surgery) to now 250. I feel like I should be so much further along. I just can't seem to get motivated to exercise.

  16. A major NSV!! I was having a conversation with one of my friends who stopped in the middle of her sentenced and said "OMG!", I said "what?", she said "when did you start crossing your legs?". I did it and didn't even realize it. I've NEVER been able to cross my legs. I'm loving my sleeve. Blessings2u--BJ

  17. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I need help. I feel like I've been as "stall" for over a month now. I just can't seem to get past 284lbs. I drink my protein shakes (30grams only 1 gram of sugar), but I have a hard time eating meat. Why can't I break my stall?

    Fear Of Lunch

Nothing to stress over....try deli meat (sliced thin)....cheese and maybe flatbread. Peanut butter, crackers, cheese sticks, peanuts, protein drinks, salads.....keep what you can in the fridge at work (perhaps invest in one for your space). This way you will/should always be prepared. You will get it....Blessings2u--bj

I Definitely Regret Surgery.... So Far!

in your daily walk......live out the word of God. His word tells us that He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we ARE healed. (not maybe, not might) but ARE healed! walk in it and trust that he knows what's going on with you. If he brought you to this, he will bring you through it! Don't dwell in where you are---live in what you don't see yet---I am here for you and am definitely praying for you. Blessings2u--bj
  22. So one of my employees bought me a chocolate frosty from Wendy's. Not to be rude, I accepted it---But I had to throw it away because I just couldn't bring myself to drink it. Wow!! My mind is truly renewed.
