Harrier's Woman, True Results has a new PA and I like her a lot. She listens and takes action. I was having some problems and she ordered a barium test right away and I had it done. I have stretched my upper pouch a little and she removed some of my fill. I'm doing much better now. I go back Tuesday to see how I'm doing. As for billing me I've only been charged $60 for an office visit once. I will be interested to see what the barium test costs since my insurance won't pay for anything to do with WLS.

Thank you so much for this post. I've been struggling since January and have had many stuck episodes lately. I'm finally going back to see my surgeon tomorrow after 5 months. I had my surgery in Oct 2011. I'm going to dig out all of the materials I was given when I was banded and reread them. Thanks again! Cyndy

Hi! I live in the Corpus Christi area but had my surgery in San Antonio. I would love to find some local people for support. I do go to San Antonio for my fills and I'm going tomorrow for one. I have not been following the rules since January. I know I need to get back in the swing of things but I'm so disgusted with myself. I hope someone in my area sees this! Cyndy

Hi October buddies! I gained 1 lb in December and I'm ok with that. Considering all the goodies that have been around. We also were gone for a week over Christmas break and that was hard to keep track of my calories. Excuses I know but I'm back on track and will go to the grocery store today to get supplies. I understand because I too gained 2.5 lbs this week. You are doing fantastic with your weight loss. Snacking at night is my biggest problem. My husband buys junk food and leaves it laying around. It's so easy for me to just grab something and pop it in my mouth without really thinking about it. So I'm working on that and it's hard. I know you will get back on track and lose that 3 lbs and more! Stay focused! Cyndy

I go to True Results in San Antonio and I self paid so my fills are free for the first year. I saw the surgeon twice, once at the consult and for the follow up visit. I don't feel like I'm getting the support they talked about so much. Btw, I live in Corpus Christi, so I have to drive 2 hours to get my fills. It's a pain but I'll do it as long as my fills are free.

My weight for Dec. 15 is 197.5. I'm up this week, bummer! But I'll work on getting it down this week. Cyndy

Hi everyone! I went for my second fill today and ended up not getting one. The doctor said I'd lost 11.5 lbs in 5 weeks. I was surprised by that but what really surprised me was I didn't need a fill. He said since I was losing more than 2 lbs a week, we would wait and see what happens. I'm happy about the weight loss but I think I don't have a restriction. He did tell me to eat more food. I am going for my 2nd fill tomorrow. I haven't lost as much this month as I was hoping for. So I wonder what my dr will say. I'm hoping for better restriction after this fill. Although I got stuck last night eating an eggroll. I hate that but it was my fault because I took too big of a bite. I hope everyone has a good Tuesday!

Sarah, I too have some pain around my port area. It comes and goes, but if I lay on my right side too long it really hurts. Shirley, I'll ask a nearby PT place. My son is having therapy there and they are really nice. They also have a heated pool. Thanks for the idea. Q-tee, your doing great! Aqua-Zumba sounds like a great class! I took a few Zumba classes but I was so heavy I thought I would pass out before it was over. Cyndy
