My surgery is two weeks from today at 1:55 pm. Not sure if I'm more excited to finally be sleeved or have a month off work. -

Just finished my pre op class at kaiser. Found out my pre diet requirements. 48 before: liquids 24 hrs before: clear liquids. Nothing after midnight before surgery unless you have a late day appt. 1:55pm 5/29/2014 Is my surgery. Two weeks from today. Can't wait!

Same here. I think I went to the march 25 orientation. I wanted to do the May 22 Surgery but didn't work with my husbands schedule. So May 29th it is. Crazy how fast it's gone.

Yes, it's the 12 week class, but they made it so you can come in at any time. When did you start the process for WLS?

Thanks . I did the one support, one nutrition class and 2 psych appts. They are working on getting support classes at Kaiser Roseville. Is the mindful eating the 12 week class?

Kaiser Perm South Sac Bariatric program is rated one of the best in the country. I'm confident with their choice of no pre-op diet. Very thankful too. -

I'm May 29 and no pre op diet. Only nothing 12 hours before. Where are you from? -
I have been on Wellbutrin since 2005. Many times I thought I was good and stopped taking it and within two weeks I hit rock bottom. It doesnt make you gain weight and doesn't seem to effect my sexual drive. It's also used to treat ADHD so that's an added benefit. Feel free to ask me any questions. I will have to change to the non extended release after my surgery.

May 29th is my big day. Can't wait!!!! -
From the first education class to the surgery date will be less than 12 weeks. I feel well educated from Kaiser, Bariatriv Pal and friends who have successfully been through the sleeve surgery. I'm so excited and anxious to see what life has I store for me post WLS.

I'm all done too. Even did my pre surgery labs and EKG too. Appt with the RN next Thursday to schedule my surgery date. Yay!

Sounds good and good luck to you!!! This is actually my second appt with the psych. I was scheduled first, even prior to my surgery consult. I think it was because I take depression meds and Xanax occasionally. The psych seem confused by it too. She was very nice. Hope this one goes as smooth as the first.
