Im a 31 year old mother of a 12 year old who has struggled for many years with my weight.  I finally took the leap to do something about my weight when i saw my daughter go through the same things i did when i was her age.  The kids pick on her and say things to her that i know hurt so bad.  I want to be so strong and show her that we both can to this. I had my surgery on Oct 13 th 2011 and im feeling pretty good.  I know that it will still be a struggle every day to make the right decision but i know that i can to this.
