What is your latest NSV (non scale victories) ? I will start.... I have two that are huge to me. I am 4 weeks out today 1) I can wear my wedding rings again! Yeahhhh and my husband is really happy about it. 2) I noticed I was crossing my legs in church this morning without any effort. I can not remember the last time I could do that. :)

Congrats to you!!!! -
I usually would not do this. I just was wondering how many of you actually read the blogs written by our fellow sleevers. I read one yesterday I can not get out of my mind. What insight and courage this sweet young lady has. Please read and enjoy. What an amazing journey she is on, and how encouraging it is to me. Very wise beyond her years to even realize it!!

You are going to be fine. I had all the same reservations and I went to MX and 4 weeks later I am running , playing tag football with my grandbabies. I am so happy. I also had to lose almost 100 lbs. Expect the worst but pray for the best. Always, always only tell your self positive affirmations. You can and will do this. I decided not to share with anyone either, with the exception of my husband, sister in NY and a boss at work. Best decision I made. I also would rather focus on what I need to get done than be preoccupied with others doubts. I am so happy for you. I will be praying for a speedy, save and easy recovery(for you also lovelylirpa). Keep us posted how you do.

I think that was very conservative, in your reaction, lol. That was so sweet of them to tempt you like that lol. Truly what wonderful family you do have for being there. Congrats on being sleeved, I was sleeved 02/04, right behind you. Hang in there .

Spatters, I felt the same way, I still do in many ways, I can not imagine not being heavy. Only 4 weeks out and I can fit in jeans I haven't worn in a long long time. lol . I do not see a lot of change but am beginning to feel a lot of change! -
You made me cry. I think you were writing to my (and many others) skinny self also. Thank you (((big hug))))

Whats The Skinny? Saturday
yecats replied to Lilee84's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Trust your instincts. Only you know if this is right for you or not. It is not a quick fix or a easy fix all solution. I have not yet to have buyers remorse but although I went into this with eyes wide open, you can not totally prepare yourself for the emotional side of it. That cheeseburger and fries I can not devour.............. but 4 weeks out tomorrow, I can cross my legs today comfortably and i played tag football with my grandsons today . Life is great!!!! -
That was funny, no worries. lol

yecats replied to GonnaLoseIt's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I read on here where someone brought thier scale over to thier Mom's house.....lol. Closet does not work for me. I have asked my husband to hide it but when he seen me digging from room to room he gave up doing that. -

I would love to hear of from some people that have started off slow losing then it all started turning around. I do not think I am talking about the 3 week stall, It is more like the feeling that you might not believe you ever are going to lose any weight. I can not even imagine it. I am almost discouraged! I am almost 4 weeks out,I started off rather well ,the first week but since then have just teetered up and down 2-3 lbs. I know I will lose, I am doing all the right things but I feel like I am the only one experiencing this, it is so frustrating. I could really use some others experiences with this. Thank you.
