Feeling Badly Every Few Weeks
yecats replied to Cheles's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Do you write down everything you eat, maybe it is effecting you a day or so later, lactose intolerent, a new allergy to a food, etc. Someone on here said they used a draft to show their weight loss, so now they recognise by a pattern, when they go into a stall. With that being said, if you notice every couple of weeks a different type of pattern, what is happening to you, maybe if you track everything you consume maybe then you might be able to narrow down what is happening. If you do track everything already then go back and look and see what might stand out. Be prapared and take that info to your Dr. -
What A Difference 18 Months, 20 Thousand Dollars Worth Of Surgery And 130 Lbs Lost Makes...
yecats replied to ouroborous's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
You seem to have a very healthy attitude. I believe you are in a great place right now. You know the saying it always look greener.... or you want what you can't have well.... you might have lubs around the middle, and you are not perfect , who is? Live in the moment, enjoy where you are at. Also , to your benefit remember that men generally get better looking with age, not so true with women. Maybe all would not agree but I beleive but I have witnessed that. I must say (and know I am not coming on to you lol) you are a handsome guy, I also think these ladies would agree and say since you are sharing so much I think that you should share a full body shot pics. You sure got my curiosity up. Relish the moment and live in it, Let everyone revel in your progress lol.... -
Already started, tough but I can do this AND this to will pass!!! lol

yecats replied to royboy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Wow, that is wonderful!!! Thank you for posting that. I seem to hear of the week out and the few months out but it is encouraging to hear that you are doing so well only 6 weeks out. Keep up the good progress and also keep posting!!!! -

I am pre sleeve but I was told to always weigh in the a m when I have nothing, including liquids in my stomach. Just think one gallon of milk weighs like eight lbs. So if you are drinking water or something else and then weighing your self that counts. If you know you are doing what is right it is just a mind/scale thing getting to you.

My last Hoorah was last night supposably. Went out with the girls and had a Chef Salad. I was all syched about the clear liquid diet. I decided to end the ol'coffe thing also. Well... my husband went fishing very early, I made him coffee last night, automatically it was ready at 5am. Well, he had good intentions, he made me some also before he left. I hear the phone ring, get up out of bed, get on the phone, start talking, pore a cup of coffee and put in my usual Rye tst in the toaster. Before I even realized, a cup of coffee AND toast was gone before I even comprehended what I did. I really thought that my head is in this game. I really can not believe that I was so mindless. So I start now... Any suggestions to help with this pre op process>? I really dread it. I CAN AND WILL DO IT THOUGH!!!!

Does any one know if I should purchase those leg things, something like.. circulation socks, before I go to Mexico to wear home on the plane? Will I need them? I have a long flight.

Urgent - Advice Needed Please
yecats replied to bratvp63's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Forgive me if I am stepping out of line for I have not been sleevedl. I will be sleeved on Feb 4th. Maybe take into consideration that you do have a little over 3 weeks to prepare. How hard was it for you to get a date? Do you have to travel and did you already make arrangements? For me it would be much harder to change all of that, financially and rearranging. I am not in your position, nor do I even know what that trauma would be like but not being sleeved and putting it off (for me) would be worse than trying to recouparate with my children and husband in the same room. I also do not know what it feels like , after being sleeved, but I have had operations, serious ones and measure it by those experiences. My heart goes out to you and I am so sorry you are suffering such a loss and dealing with this at a this time in your sleeve journey! I pray it all works out. -
I will be sleeved on Feb. 4th. in Mx. I am so excited. Anyone joining me?

Last time I logged on, everytime I would try to open a "recent topic", a window would open about creating a new ticker. I do not know if it had anything to do with me just making my ticker yesterday but it was very annoying. That is nothing though, I am not complaining (Alex,)lol, just saying. I LOVE VST!!! It just might have to do with me and my computer considering I know my computer is not up to date on the lastest versions of the best browsers. I am not very computer savvy. It works ok for me right now so don't fix what is not broken. I was messing with things a few days ago and I thought I messed up my connection to VST, only to find out later the sight went down for a day or so. So glad it is back up.

Good point, I was letting my nerves from flying get the best of me. I will contact my Dr.
-
I know I have to call my Dr. office and/or surgeon but off hand, has any experienced being medicated before and after sleeve surgery for the reason to fly. I hate to fly on an airplane and it just hit me, I wonder if I will be able to take a prescribed type of seditive before each flight? I really hope so. I am flying into MX the day before my surgery and flying home 4 days post op. It shouldn't be an issue, medically speaking concerning the surgery or post op my sleeve.
