I have not had surgery and haven't considered it until I found this site. I want to know more! Will I always be considered a "special circumstance" when it comes to eating for the rest of my life? Will I have to adhere to strict dietary guidelines for the rest of my life? If so, how is it different from plain old dieting (which absolutely doesn't work for me). I keep thinking I need to "get a hold of myself mentally" or things will always go back to the same result: FAT! I am secretly hoping that if I get lots of poundage off my body I will be more inclined to exercise and move more because it will be easier as a lighter person. I need direction! I am at the end of my hope and I have a six year old son who wants me to play with him and is noticing my size compared to other mothers.
