In 2014 my band slipped , and I a complete unfill. Of course some of the weight I lost came back, but not too much because I was still working out. Getting myself back on track has been hard. My PA suggested I have an Endoscopy to make sure the band didn't slip again. I was a nervous wreck. The doctor confirmed that all was good, and I was relieved. They added 0.25 to my band. This was my first fill since January 2015. I feel the difference. I can eat , but the fullest comes after three or four chew sessions with my meal. I'm less hungry between meals .....lasting at minimum 4 hours. I'm tighter in the mornings , so I just drink some water and then eat my oatmeal 30 minutes afterwards. I haven't weighed myself, but size 12 clothing is starting to feel loose. I also started taking different classes at the gym like Masala Bhangra and Barre Conditioning. I stop wearing my heart rate monitor, and now I just focus on the work and not the calories on the watch.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm feeling much better . I just need to reset my mind and work with my band and not against it.

I may just try weight watchers again.......

My doctor wants me to start writing my intake down. If I have three meals a day with no snack I should lose something. I'm not sure what I should be living off......if I eat every 4 hours isn't this the threshold for a band doing its job ? I do workout ....been lifting weights since 2013 and I do my cardio. I don't drink soda or juice , and I do drink my water.

My band was unfilled due to slippage. I was banded February 29th, 2012. I started out at 262 .....lowest was 175 now back 218 since being unfilled .

My doctor has not given me a fill in 3 months. I have some restriction, but the weight is not coming off. I stop eating when I get full . I had my band unfilled last February and it has been downward from there. I'm feeling really defeated with this whole process. Now she wants me to keep a food journal. It's very frustrating.

I was on vacation when I was banded ......I returned the next a little sore but nothing noticeable. I decided against telling people cause I work with a bunch of hens lol.....I was also going to the gym before my surgery and my weight loss was very slow so it worked out ok. -
Sliders are foods you can eat without getting stuck.....like cake , chocolate etc.....the bad stuff

This is great ! I need to get my band mojo back. Was unfilled and had to start over .....this time around is much slower for me. I want 2015 to be a successful year ????. I need to get back to my gym routine, and practice better eating habits .

Well I banded in 2012 ........lost most of my weight in 2013. Then my band slipped and was unfilled in February 2014. I did gain weight but I'm still able to fit in my post weight lost clothing ( no more plus size) . The remainder of the year has been rough. Now I'm just at a stand still . I thought I was at 7 cc but my doctor realized yesterday by band was only at 5 cc. I knew something wasn't right , and this makes sense now. So I'm looking forward to 2015 to see where this goes. It's like starting over .....but I'm thankful for being where I'm at now.

I just found out my band was at 5 cc not 7 cc as the doctor stated. For the last two months my weight has stayed the same - no gains or losses . I really thought I was at 7cc so I was concerned about not feeling any restriction. I decided to to chuck up 2014 as a battle loss , and will gear up for a better 2015. #downbutnotout

Omg you hit the nail right on the head . I was almost at tears when I read your post. I scared of the band slipping , and it's affecting my overall health and ability to lose weight. Slider foods are not safe only fattening. I will hang in there cause I came to far to go back.

My band was unfilled February 2014. I started getting fills in May 2014. My weight has slowly creeped up since my unfill. I'm at 7cc with a 10 cc band . My band slipped at 7cc and that's why I needed an unfill . Last month when I went to 7cc , I was able to fill some restriction . My ability to eat more was limited . However, my weight did not change from my last visit . The doctor did not give me another fill, which was a bit disappointing to me. I was banded 2/29/2012. Started at 262 lbs now I'm 217 lbs .......lowest weight was 173 lbs before my unfill. At the lowest weight I was a loose size 12 leaning towards a size 10 . Now I'm a semi-tight size 12 and mid loose size 14 ( not plus size ). I'm going insane but trying to stay positive. I have been guilty of eating sliders especially at office functions. Just feeling a little hopeless from yesterday's visit ????????????

I'm really practicing on chewing my food thoroughly. I believe this is what caused my band to slip before. So I'm being really mindful moving forward . Thanks for all the feedback
