About Me

  • Gender
    Female
Like many folks, I had tried every diet I could be on and nothing was working. So I checked with my insurance at work and discovered that the sugery was 100% covered as long as I met the requirements. So i went to my primary doctor in Aug of 2010 and started the 6 months of trying to loose weight and that failed so then I was ready to move forward with the Lap band surgery.  Per my insurance company, they would only cover it 100% if I went to certain doctors. So I attended a seminar for both and choose my favorite. Since I had all my ducks in a row, my insurance approved the surgery within 3 weeks of submitting the request. So I had my surgery on 9-16-11 and now I am just waiting until 10-28-11 to get the first fill. So far I have lost 18 pounds in 3 weeks without having it filled. I am very good about following everything that I was told.
