I'm a fun, fearless 34 yr. old from Portland, OR. I am finishing graduate school this year to be a school counselor. I want to get banded because I am a professional at losing weight but I can't seem to keep it off. I'm hoping the band will help me achieve the lifelong weight loss that I so desperately want. I am a very active person when I am physically able, and I am reclaiming my life by losing this weight once and for all. I hope to do a marathon, and another triathlon in the next year, as well as take some active vacations to rock climb, cycle, and backpack in the beautiful Pacific NW where I live. Once I get past the surgery and lose about 30 more pounds, I will start my running training again for summer races. If anyone local wants to get on board with me, I would love to have company!
