I have been overweight since I was about 10 years old. I developed high blood pressure and was diagnosed with Thyroid problems in the last 2 years and decided I had to do something because with my family history things would only get worse. I talked to friends who had had different types of gastric surgery and decided Lapband was the one for me. I started my journey on Oct. 3 2011 and I have a huge support system that is so amazing. I can hardly wait to see the results.....
