    Pre-op diet

    On day 11 of my pre-op diet, I always do a protein shakes as meals, and a couple for snacks I could have up to 6 a day and they really seemed to help me with hunger, and lots of water and activity to keep your mind busy in between.
  2. PACKING!!!! WOOHOO Monday at 6:15am is when I welcome my little sleevie!

  3. I arrive Monday at 6:15am... I had my pre-admission test done today and everthing is a go! I bought my gas-x strips, chapstick, and travel pillow today, now packing.... I have to say I am the only thing I am nervous about is getting nausea after surgery and getting my drain removed in a week
  4. 8lbs lost on pre-op diet and scale has not moved since Friday... I hope it moves tomorrow!

    Oh wow I wasn't expecting that I thought I was safe with my Mirena... But even on my preop diet, aunt flo has come for a visit... Now I know why....

  11. I was allowed coffee on my pre-liquid diet, but it has to be black, no cream and I have been using a sugar free DiVinci Syrup to sweeten it. I do know all doctors are different and I have seen others are not allowed caffine before you might want to check with your dr. first.

    July 1, 2013 sleeve date

    I am July 1st also, having my surgery in Springfield MO. I am on day 6 of my pre-op liquid diet and doing pretty good. Lost 7 lbs. so far good luck on your journey !!!

    Pre op diet starts today!

    You can do it! I am on day 3, yesterday really sucked but today is a little easier BUT I have had NO weight loss yet... That is a little discouraging.

    I use a bigger padded seat, plus padded biking shorts make a real difference for me ....

  22. I started my strict pre op diet today ( for the second time... long story) I am on clear liquids and 6 protein shakes a day for 2 weeks.... I can tell that the protein shakes are going to get old fast, I have been collecting different kinds and flavors to try out... Nectar is my favorite but I have to get it online and I like muscle milk when I am on the go. The chicken broth I got is GROSS I think because it is low sodium.... I also started a gummy multi-vitamin and biotin... This week shopping list I will grab some B-12 some unflavored unjury protein and I think I am going to try the unjury chicken broth. Good luck everyone, we are almost there
  23. Nervous that something is going to go wrong again and keep me from getting my surgery.... Hurry up July 1st I am ready to get it over with!

    WOW there is a lot of sleeve sisters out there getting sleeved the 1st!! Add me and keep me posted on your journeys.... I started my liquid diet today... (for the 2nd time) I have a really restricted diet clear liquids and 6 protein shakes a day, but feeling good.

    10 things I can't wait to do

    Here are mine, surgery July 1st!!! 1. Go kayaking 2. Use my mountain bike, and not look like a elephant on a tricycle. 3. Actually enjoy clothes shopping 4. Not be embarrassed to be in family pictures 5. Go zip lining 6. Go on backpacking trips 7. Ride my motorcycle again 8. Run a 5k 9. Do a belly dancing class 10. Last but defiantly not least... Wear my wedding ring again!!!
