Hi there My scheduled surgery date is Dec 9. I had my pre-op yesterday and my Dr said that we may need to push back my surgery date if i don't drop 12 lbs by my next Dr visit Nov 29th. Is anyone else in Ca and having their VSG at UCLA? I don't have much of a support system. Most of my friends aren't for me having the surgery and my parents are gone. So its basically just me. Is anyone else having trouble losing prior to their surgery date? Also I see a lot of people talk about 10 days liquid diets before surgery. I am being told I need to only do 24 hours. I understand some surgeons are different but that's a big difference, right?
