At 18 years old and just short of 5 foot 2 inches, I'm pushing 185 on a good day. My mother recently got a Gastic Bypass and has had amazing results. She's willing to help me through this as my last resort for weight loss. If I don't do this now, my doctor says I'll have serious health problems in addition to my already existent Asthma, Sleep Apnea, High Blood pressure and Joint pains. I'm not getting any smaller. But I am terrified. I'm very young, and my mom is the only one who knows I'm going to try for the Lap Band but I meet the criteria at BMI 33.7, and am emotionally ready to start my real life!
