I am 26 years old and was completely frustrated with my weight.  I was not huge and I carry my weight really well, so when I decided to get lap band no one could understand why. I knew I had to do it for myself or else I was going to spend the rest of my 20's in my bedroom alone and depressed!!  I was banded in July 2011 by Dr. Rodreguiz in Mexico.  I have NOT lost a pound since the surgery.  I am the exact same weight when I went in for surgery as I am now.  I had my first fill on September 25 and I feel absolutely no restriction. I am completely frustrated and discouraged.  I feel like a failure and I am losing my will to succeed.
