I am actually on this forum to try to get help for my mother. She had lap-band done a little over three years ago and has had complications ever since. She initally lost 30lbs and has not lost any additional weight. She had her surgery performed in Mexico and now NO one will help her! Her "fills" never seemed to work. She throws up almost everything that she eats. I am concerned for her health and well-being. She is becoming more and more depressed and I don't understand why a Dr. cannot look at her and tell her what is going on with the band? I am hoping by reaching out on this forum that someone can point us in the right direction!!
Have not lost all hope yet!
