Hi, my name is Heather. I am 28 years old and a single mom of two girls and have recently started my own business. As a full-time student finally achieving the educational goals I had set for myself, I am happy as I am to have started this new chapter in my life, I have always felt like my personality doesn't match my outer appearance. I want nothing more than the simple things in life like being able to run and play with my children, climb stairs, and play basketball again. I want to be healthy.

I have made steps towards changing my diet and losing weight without surgery, but have only been able to maintain my current weight. I no longer drink soda or eat sweets, I'm even trying to cut carbs! I tried pills, shakes, and starvation... nothing worked nor was a healthy way to lose and keep weight off.

Anyway, to make a long story short, my weight is hindering me from achieving some goals. I don't feel like the person I am inside. I want people to see my achievements and not be distracted by my outer appearance, nor do I want to be judged by it.
