I am using Dr. Hollis at True Results in Houston. Scheduled for surgery on 10/21.... everything going great so far! :-)

He will be doing my surgery on Oct 21st. So far, I have been impressed with him, his knowledge, and his demeaner. Not too impressed with the office staff ... but, that is another story. :-) Let me know if you find out anything else...

I am scheduled for Oct 21st... day before my birthday! LOL So far, kind of nervous, kind of excited...protein shakes aren't that bad. On day 4 of the pre-op diet, not missing food at all... unless I am around it! :-)

I am scheduled for surgery on Oct 21st, with Dr. Hollis. I concur with what everyone else has said... once a month for the first year.

I am using the Body Fortress from Walmart... love the "Chocolate-Peanut Butter" flavor!! :-) Also, I bought some Syntrax nectar in strawberry Mousse. It is very good, and mixes with Water pretty well. They have about 15 different flavors, and they have them at Vitamin Shoppe and GNC. I called the Syntrax company and bought a sample pack of 13 flavors for pretty cheap... can't remember the exact price, less than $20. The tubs of Syntrax are around $35 each...

Totally new to the forum. Just scheduled my surgery for October 21st! Having it done here in Houston, TX with Dr. Hollis of True Results. Have to start my pre-op diet today! LOL So, when mixing the Protein shakes, does everyone use Water... milk is a no-no for my Dr. And the Protein Shakes made with water are pretty nasty! Any suggestions?

Not sure why he doesn't like anyone using milk in their diets. Have you had any complications since surgery?
