I am sorry to hear of your loss....... let me know if you need anything!

Is it too late to join? We are 2 weeks into April, So I want to say that I can loose 10 pounds by June 1st. Is that still the date?
-
You can do it!!!!! Congrats on your date!
-
Congratulations!!!!!
-
I am really TRYING to get a exercising regiment down. What are you all doing? Any suggestions?
-
EGGS, dry white meat chicken, some read meats, and processed meats.
-
GYPJ- You will continue to loose without activity, but it will eventually catch up with you and then you will Plateau. If I had to do it all over again, I would have made the choice to be more active in the beginning.

I like to put candy in my buttery popcorn at the movies....does that count? Oh yeah...I like the french fries in milkshakes too! :0)

I took off a week. I could have returned sooner. My biggest problem was the GAS!!! Once I got past that I was great!!!!

CONGRATS!!!! God IS GOOD!!!!

Hey Zoe!!! Sorry so late! I live in Tennessee. Thanks for the offer. Good Luck!

One night I had a pain so terrible that I thought I was going to die! I could not move, I had to sleep sitting up....guess what it was....GAS! I took a gas X and was relieved immediately!!! Not saying that is what's going on with you, but since being banded, Gas has taken on a whole new meaning/feeling...I am not an expert, so please check with your doctor.

OK gotta question and need advice. I work in a very stressful environment. One of the things we all look forward to is lunch.... Well not a lot of people know that I am banded. I LIKE IT THAT WAY. I just didn't want people observing me like a guinea pig. Anyway, I find myself overindulging at lunch trying to eat normal. It's getting difficult, because I KNOW that I am heading down the wrong direction. I guess I am just wondering what you all do. I know the sensible thing would be to bring my lunch, but most days I really need to get away.... I am open to all opinions. Birdee

I just want to say GOOD JOB Michelle. You are an inspiration. I appreciate you sharing. Sometimes once some people get close to goal, it's harder for them to share their experiences. I appreciate it!!!! Thanks Birdee:D

I am kinda worried about my weight Loss....(Like who isn't huh.) Well I looked at the calendar and I am almost a year out. It's been a long but short year.....if that makes since. From one stand point it seems like forever, but then again, maybe not. When I look at so many bandster stats and I feel like I am a failure. I know I have not played it straight either. For some strange reason, I thought the weight would come off easier than it has. I guess I thought that just getting the band would be enough. It has taken me a whole year to realize that getting the band is not enough. :think It's obvious that I am a slow learner . So what's a gal to do??!!?? I am searching for hope. I need to know that at 3.4 cc's a year later and 49 pounds lighter, that it is possible to make it to my goal. I guess I am so use to seeing the bulk of the weight fall off of people in their first year, and in actuality I am only half way there. I just needed to vent.......... Thanks!!!! Well TOM came so I guess after that is over I will weigh, post it and then nit weight again until the following week.....
-
Thanks guys...everything everyone has said, is true and makes a lot of sense. All of my 18/20's are too big ( I refuse to by smaller clothes, I'll wait until they fall off!!!!). I have had to have my wedding ring sized. My shoes are too big, My shirts are too big...even the ones that use to gap in the middle. I guess at this point I need to focus on what I have accomplish and strive for more than what's on the scale...if I meet and my goals, the weight will fall off naturally. Thanks so much for the wisdom and advice....I LOVE THIS BOARD!!!! Birdee

YOU GO GIRL!!!! I am so proud of you....I bet you were hot to trot today at work!!!!! :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny :Bunny

Thanks guys so much for all of the support and kind words....I think my biggest problem is I compare myself to other all the time!!! It's normal I suppose.....I think another thing that is gettin to me is that I recommended a person for the surgery and for some strange reason, I need to get to goal beforse she does. I know that sounds silly, but let me elaborate....she told me that I should have been at goal, and that I am not doing what I am suppose to. So I guess when you have someone telling you something like that, it makes everytime I get on the scale and it doesn't move feel like another failure. I have however done something to help...I have made myself take in more Water...no less the 4 cups a day. Working up to 8. I have been going to the park. Not this week though...it's that TOM...so I have not felt up to much of anything!!!! Well it obvious that I have somethings to deal with..... Thanks again guys!!!! Birdee
