I should be in Mx being sleeved by Dr Illan right now, but I was in an accident on Monday and had to cancel my trip. I have also been on these boards a long time and have read defamatory posts from Susan regarding her Mx doc. I have also read posts from Susan when we were all unsure about who her Mx doc was praising Illan and Omar. And now this. If relationships happened that were consensual, but then went south then it is what it is. Did someone going to Mx really think they would live happily ever after with Omar? Please! But if whatever happened had a criminal aspect, then the women should have reported the criminal activity. To now publicize a version of stories third person is dangerous and whether warranted or not, seems suspicious. I appreciate the desire to let everyone know or "warn" everyone, but that should come from the person in the relationship. For it to come from Susan, it loses credibility and honestly Susan opens you up to significant liability. You were not there. You have no idea what happened except for the stories you were told. Conveyed that info without any guarantee that its truthful is frightening. The only people that can convey the truth are the ones in the past relationship.

Stephannie - any tips for someone just starting? Did you wait to reintroduce complex carbs, do you avoid them at all, exercise, etc? You have amazing results!

I just created the FB Group "July 2014 Sleevers". It's a closed group so click join and it will add you. Then in about a week we can convert it to Secret if everyone prefers.

I haven't been through all of the posts, but is anyone interested in setting up a July sleevers group on FB? I will set up a closed group tonight so we can all run questions and ideas past each other if there is interest and one hasn't already been set up.

Does Perez or his patients have any sort of online support group, like a Facebook group. I am deciding between Perez and a doc in TJ. The other doctor has a very active page where we can all ask questions, see how other individuals are doing, etc. Cancun would be SO much easier for us, but the lack of info from patients scares me. I know they are out there....just want to try to connect.

A few years back I called our insurance and they called back a few days later and told me it wasn't covered. Now there is an online system and I pulled it up. Bariatrics isn't mentioned at all. Is there a Code that I should call and ask about to be certain?
