So many things!! I wanna run a 5k I wanna be a size 10/12 (now I'm practically a 14 so I'm getting there!) I wanna get married/ find an awesome guy (ok that's not necessarily directly band related... But it sort of is!) Ps: I would also love to buy mis73 and Carolina girl drinks -

Awesome!!! I'm training for. 5k now and boy does this topic give me motivation!! -
I run (not a ton but I do sometimes) and have no pain. Maybe you're just getting "runners stitch" around that area and it has nothing to do with your port?

My port tilted...
Lapbandster replied to TattooBeauty's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine feels tilted to me when I'm standing up But when I'm lying flat it feels fine I told my surgeon I'm concerned and he said "stop being a nervous nelly!" So I'm not too concerned -
Anyone else get really really depressed from this site?
Lapbandster posted a topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Lately I have been seeing a dramatic increase in the negative lap band experiences people are reporting (maybe it was always like this and I just didnt notice??) It seems like every day people are posting that they're getting their bands removed because of serious/irreversible complications So far I have no reason to be upset with my band (other than occasional heartburn, but with no Fluid in my band, my doc isn't really concerned) but being on here makes me feel like my band is a "ticking time bomb" and that something will surely go wrong. I try to stay positive, and try to be happy with my 60 lb weight loss, but I am feeling increasingly unsettled and its really bumming me out -
Cool! I'm no longer "morbidly obese" Just plain "obese" Nice!!

How many of you have lost the sensation of hunger after having the lap band for a few years?
Lapbandster replied to flyerband's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Banded nearly 10 months now and I still get really hungry. Don't think it was as bad as before though. Hopefully a few more fills and ill get there! -

Lapbandster replied to KimJ384's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
It is interesting to hear about your acid problems I had some moderate heartburn at one point, and my doctor had me rush to see him that day for unfill. It was hard because he's 45-60 mins away from me, but I RAN to him in a panic. Now its weeks later, no weight is coming off due to no restriction, and i still have some mild intermittent heartburn. (Which I honestly do not think is due to my band, because severe GERD runs in my family, and there is no Fluid in there, but everytime I mention heartburn my surgeon scares the **** out of me. I'm getting tired of this) I wonder if I need daily antacid to solve my issues? -

Everything you have written is totally normal! You might not feel restriction for a bit, but it's all normal! I think your doing great! Btw, it took losing 40 lbs before people noticed -

My doc has absolutely no issues with carbonation In Australia and in Europe most doctors have no issues with carbonation either That being said, I have MAJORLY cut down my soda consumption. I have replaced soft drinks with cold Water bottles

As everyone else has said, I chose this because it was reversible and there are much longer studies out for the band than there is for the sleeve I don't like the idea of rny because reroutimg My Intestines is just plain terrifying Want proof that the band is good? Just google search all the people who have gotten banded over their gastric bypass

You can do this dude! We're all in this together! Btw does dr denham do his fills under fluoro? Or does he just guesstimate? Please keep us updated on your progress -
