I can completely relate to you my best friend in the whole wide wide wide world trys to compete with me lol god bless her I love her to death so I refrain from telling her anything thank god my bf told me to take the high road he thinks my complaints about her are very highschoolish lol after I thought about it I laughed because even then she's tried competing with me copying me I like a bag she trys to get it first but little does she know I got it last month lol she went to a seminar for gastric bypass I went with her but she chickened out she said she'll wait a few yrs to get it since she's on her moms insurance till she's 26 so she's not focused on weight loss surgery mind you that's when I myself was continuously getting denied for my lap band (changed my mind to sleeve) so finally I tell her oh im getting the sleeve she tells me oh that's a little too drastic your doing too much completely unsupportive I didn't care so Oct 17 2011 I got my surgery now she's suddenly happy && proud of me oh && also she made a appointment to see her dr nov 15 to talk to her about getting the sleeve its so annoying to me like none of my other friends ever try to have this silent competition with me ugh im getting mad now thinking about it haha but what are you gonna do right atleast im inspiring her to get healthy one way or thee other sorry for the long post but this topic really hit home to me don't feel bad about your decisions that's so beneficial to aid you to a long healthy life<3

tomorrow im getting my drain removed yaaaaye im so happy can't wait to heal completely ready to exercise! everything's going fine no trouble keeping anything down no nausea pain hope I'll be progressed to mushys!!! goodluck everyone so far I've been losing a pound a day so excited nice to say goodbye to every pound<3

have you ever tried putting vaseline on or petroleum jelly on the area where the chaffing develops?

lol skip the liquor I just want some effing peanut butter only 5 days post op im not hungry at all just want something really creamy ugh im tired of the food policing can't watch my college nor nfl team play my family thinks my new pouch can't take the pressure lol sorry for venting completely!

heyyy sweety<3 so sorry im late replying just been trying to get better its so weird I have no hunger pangs nor the want to eat anything that smells really good I can't wait till next Wednesday then I'll have this drain removed from me yaaaaaye surgery went well pain was about a 8 but went down by a repeated. continued push of a button lol I went home Tuesday night around 5 the traffic sucked but was glad to be home Wednesday was really hard pain wise getting in & out of bed but today I feel about 70% each day gets better the hard part is over now im happy I'll keep you updated you do the same goodluck to everyone included<3

don't stress about how others will or have treated you I can completely relate to you im 22 soon to be 23 dec 26 yaaaaye lol but I've never been bullied in my past on restricted from certain opportunities in life so as of oct 17 I've been sleeved im taking that date as a new bday forget my past failures or the friends who were my friends temporarily look forward to how much healthier you'll be im so scared of being small ihave no idea what type of face I'll be having but it adds to excitedness lol people will forever always have a opinion or pick on someone to uplift themselves just focus on your goals all other things will not matter goodluck<3

goodluck to everyone being sleeved today! the worst part for me was when I woke up in recovery sore throat i felt like a fish out of water my first words were thirsty lol I was in pain level 8 but as everyone says with each day you get better the hard part will be over then its all about just following surgeons orders I promised myself no matter how much pain im in I would not come on this forum complaining with any type of remorse to possibly discourage any other future sleevers im basically 3 days post op && feeling more stronger && alert each day so once again goodluck all god bless<3

thanx so much fye not quite sure im losing any pounds yet but im hoping to lose some of this pain where my drain is located lol was not expecting this! trying to stay positive the worst is over each day is getting easier for me<3

I was sleeved on Monday honestly only things I needed were my mom && dad great support system they helped me at all times. Also had my phone listened to some Adele lol && I was great left Tuesday at 5 pm

im home very sore just remembering to sip sip sip im on full liquids right now so sugar free pudding is ok as well as jello too tired to continue typing goodluck all<3

hopeful that's really early!!! yeah my focus has switched to just focusing on getting through surgery. I umderstand what you mean about the diets smh they never last long term! wow I had no idea you were 66, I can only imagine how much harder life has been for you.im going to look for that book also love hearing about others experiences. My family youtubed the surgery they started. getting so worried they thought the bigger portion of my stomach stays inside me I said nooooooo lol are you crazy! im just glad they're being so supportive of me. I will be sure to share my experience with everyone wish you bunches of luck<3 Glad you are holding up okay. Don't worry now about people changing now. Just think about getting through the surgery tomorrow beautifully and coming out on the other side when the worst part will be over! That is what I am thinking. My surgery is scheduled at 8am and I have to be at th hospital at 5:45 am tomorrow morning!!! This means I have to wake up at 4 am!!! I am happy to have it in the morning so my this time tomorrow I will be (hopefully) be in recovery waiting to go to my room and see my friends!

I've told everyone for me my decision is just that MY DECISION lol ofcourse I received the your not even that big from everyone it seems like there's a stigma on obesity so my reply to them is but im not even that small one friend told me omg your going to look like star Jones my response to that is star had gb im having the band (now sleeve thank god I did more research) also im much younger than her my dr thinks that my facial features won't be drastically altered but my point is everyone is going to have a opinion or think they know your body better than you but in the end it comes down to what you want for yourself as my date nears closer Monday the 17th more of my friends are being supportive goodluck on your journey<3
