I had a couple of crying mini meltdowns. A week before with all the pre-op appointments and juggling my family and then of course a small one as I was being wheeled into the Operating Room! -

I was the exact same way. For me it became very stressful (all the appts) at times and emotional. Now on the other side its still emotional but all the right emotions. Good Luck!!! Don't forget to come here for answers and support. -

I can tell you now that I am 6 days post opt, what you are feeling is normal. I had a very emotional journey just getting onto the operating room table. My husband was banded 1 week before me and I knew that there was no way I was going to be left behind. I cried that morning at the hospital but I can honestly say the only regret I have is that I didn't do it any sooner. Brand New Me Starts This Week! Had Lap Band Surgery Monday

Happy Band-Day to us! I had my band put I'm12/12. Yes I experienced discomfort some pain but I am completely off all pain meds and no hunger! So far the most difficult part was making it to that OR table. Very emotional time for me and mostly because I can't believe that I had become powerless against food. Now my future seems so bright and i am so thrilled for myself and all of bandsters that we have taken control. It feels so empowering. I love myself for getting the band, I love my band and I love everyone that supported me along the way. Good luck to all of us! -

I am so thrilled that I am on the other side. Before being banded, I feared failure of the unknown. Now that I see how it works, I have so much faith now that we can all do this!!!. I know that everyone heals differently. We will all get there on our own time. I am so excited for my future and all of our futures!!! Stay positive because if we believe we will achieve.

2 days post op-- slept like crap but slept, showered and I am already feeling better. I am about to walk around the house and work my spirometer.
